Guys I saw this picture (Can't find it anymore sorry :c) and it made me think.

Gems have different gem placements. But if they had the same weapon.. A lapis with a gem on their nose would have a mustache. xD I kinda hope they don't all have the same weapon but that would be funny if they did. x3

I think different, Because Ruby has a gauntlet that is only summoned by her hand, but other rubys may have them on their shoulder... witch could be a Dagger or just something different. With lapis its confusing because that may actually not be her weapon And just be something she can do, like pearl summoning tape

Hey, I read somewhere (might have been the SU wiki) that there gems are placed based on there personality. For example Peridot is very intelligent and her best weapon is her mind therefore her gem is on her head. Amethyst is fun LOVING therefore her gem is on her heart. Ruby thinks about fighting and lashing out before anything else so her gem is on her hand (fist). So if you get what i mean

Yea since it would make no sense say having a helmet on their hand. XD I hope in the future to see more of the same gems but different weapons. C:

I was re-watching some SU episodes and I noticed one of Peri's log date titles was "7 11 2". This made me think, is she recording logs by date? If so, then it would be "7-11-02" or July 11, 2002. That would explain the technology they have in Beach City and the TV that Steven owns, as it is a VCR player, one like I used to have. They also have an arcade, not that it means anything but I don't see anyone with flatscreen TV's or laptops XD It seems likely that the show is meant to be back in 2002, and I have been thinking about that for a bit. But hey, it might not mean anything XD

I think it has been established that this is an earth with alternative timeline. For example, in Historical Friction we have a settler coming over to discover beach city with gem interference. So we have similar events but due to gems colonizing Earth there are several changes. It could be 2002 for this Earth but their technology is a little more advanced.
