A question for FMA watchers.

I'm watching the FMA series, not Brotherhood, the other one, but my friends just told me that I shouldn't waste my time watching the one I'm watching right now because it's not canon and doesn't have a good plot? I'm still kinda confused as to what the difference between the two is.

I heard that FMA is not really based off of the Manga, but FMAB is based off of the Manga ^-^

FMA video game.

Which console was it for?

To answer your question, the original FMA series splits off of the manga. The beginning is the same for the most part, but around episode 25, the two split off, and the two endings are extraordinarily different. I don't think the original FMA plot is bad per say, but the plot line of FMA:B is just... phenomenal.

I think you should watch FMA Brotherhood after all Brotherhood follows the manga. :)

@DarkAngel: PlayStation2.

Son Gohan, WATCH MORE EFF-EM-AY-BEEEEEE. XD
@merci.: I like Brotherhood better, but 2003 is more... polished in the aesthetics department, I suppose? For one, IMO the boys look better. Also, Bratya. Really didn't like 2003's ending, though, but I didn't finish Conqueror of Shamballa until a couple of weeks ago.

I would finish FMA, it's also a good anime, even though it doesn't follow the manga at the end.
I don't think animes have to follow the manga 100% and I'm not mad about fillers - sometimes I like the changes, sometimes not, but I seldomly find an anime really bad because of plot changes.

What should we call you? (Optional): ULTIMATE DBZ FAN ALERT SAAAAAAAAN! Or, iKo (I got addicted to that abbreviation form of my old username, iKorra)
Favorite Anime: DRAGON BALL Z ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL DA WAY BRAH! ...And Pokemon :3 Also, The Legends of Korra.
Favorite Manga: I haven't read actual Manga but... DBZ or Pokemon? :3
Any Questions? (Optional): Who watches DBZ?
Other: ....Donuts. And DBZ is epic. I also started watching FMAB but... I only watched up to episode 2//shot

I don't watch DBZ, but I might one day. My sister loved it when she was younger (sadly she doesn't really watch anime any more).
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )
