I just found a place within 20 minutes of here that sells the 25 and 50 lb bags of lab blocks. And at a reasonable price.
This is where we're getting their food from now on XD


Also, I'll be able to get my Ferret Nation cage for the rats in a few weeks here. I'm happy c:

They're food that's used for lab rats, but it has all of the nutritional stuff in it that rats need.

I got my newest rat today!



She's just the most gorgeous thing. It's hard to tell in the picture, but she's champagne variegated with dark ruby eyes. And, most of her back is solid champagne but she has a perfect V on her shoulders! So, it must be God's way of telling me that her name should start with V! I'm thinking Vendetta or Vera. Any more ideas?

EDIT: I've decided that her name will be Vera Vendetta. It sounds pretty epic together.

Also, the dark eyed female in the litter has been named Promise. ^_^

I am sooo relieved to hear other people's rats go down their shirts.
And yeah, their fur like slides....

It tickles me, unless she goes down by crawling. Then her claws rake my back.. And I can feel the sting for a few minutes afterwards. >A<

I may have to convince my parents to breed Jessica. With this really cute dumbo one at my pet store. I'm still trying to decide if I want to. I really want Jessica to have a friend, but I wAnt it to be grey one, so my sister says if I breed her with a dumbo, it'll either be grey or a dumbo.
