My parents are cool with me going to conventions and stuff in other cities, as long as they know in advance..
I wish whedon show people would come to NZ though

Well... that's the thing. My dad comes with me xD
He's my convention buddy. It's a weekend away for just the 2 of us. We do it once a year and it's great fun.
I'm not sure I'd even go without him if friends wanted to come with me. It's too much fun going with Dad.

My parents aren't as obsessed as me. My mom likes Buffy Angel and Firefly but that's it.

My dad isn't obsessed either, but he does like the conventions. It started out as making a dream come true for me some years ago but we both liked it so much we just do one every year now and I can pick the convention we go to. It's the best weekend of the year for me.

We used to go to our local Comic-con me and my dad but that stopped awhile back cause I got out of Marvel stuff kinda. I wish I went this year Eliza Dhsuku wad there. My friend went and she said there was a super long line.

Yeah that was great. And her guest appearance in the big bang theory xD so cool. But I still love her most as Faith
