Hopefully posting here will get this place back up and running. I was wondering if anyone would critique the weapons I came up with for a Splatoon RP that takes place 3 years after Splatoon 2. Instead of the Octarians being the enemies, they've now integrated into Inkling society with the help of Marina, including DJ Octavio. Instead, the Salmonids are now much more dangerous than when Inklings would work Salmon Run shifts. They've mutated even more and are using scrapped Octarian tech as well as their own tech for unspecified goals(meaning I haven't thought of what their goals are yet) Anyway, here's some of the weapons I came up with. I've only got three weapons right now, a main, sub, and special.
Double-Barreled Dualies-Main
Double-Barreled Dualies are able to shoot four streaks of ink at once all together, and as such, their ink consumption rate is a bit of a problem. However, when used in conjunction with the Inkpedo Sub weapon and the Inknado Special, it is a powerful weapon.
Inkpedo-Sub
The Inkpedo was based off of an old Sub Weapon called the Seeker. When an Inkpedo is sent off, it plows through enemy ink while leaving a trail of ink behind it. After a little while, it will explode violently covering the surrounding turf and splatting any enemies who were unfortunate to be caught in the blast. There are some drawbacks though, if it hits a wall or an opposing player, it will detonate immediately. It will also detonate if it tries to go onto a surface that cannot be covered in ink.
Inknado-Special
The Inknado is a powerful special that requires precision as well as a lot of covered turf to activate. When activated, a giant tornado of ink appears, sucking the player who activated it in so they can control the direction of it. While sending ink in all directions, is also splats any opposing players who get too close. Allies can enter the Inknado by swimming into the bottom while in squid form. When the Inknado ends, all players swimming inside will be sent all over the stage.
