it seems they legitimately just updated, because I used it two days ago and it was normal.

i'd honestly say color coordination. like, i cannot stand when an image is mostly red but the red of the coding is, like, green. e.e
if i have trouble finding colors that work, generally i use a palette generator. cx

Layout, balance, and a good color scheme. I've learned this through many days full of trial and error.
