I just recently beat the game, and to be the champ, you have to beat Red. His Pikachi knows volt tackle and lv.... I forgot what lv it was, but pretty high. He has all the starters, from Kanto, plus some others. My advice? To beat him, get at least 5 lv 100's. (I traded with my brother for them. Also, if you have an action replay, and platinum, you can get MASTER BALLS!!! I used one to catch Mewtwo. ^^ If you need help with anything, I'll be happy to answer. ^^
And Rox? I agree with you. ^^ I'm a pearl fan. Then Soul Silver, then Platinum. ^^
