Oh!I forgot to tell you guys, there is a new mini series on Animal Planet called Blood Dolphin$ and its about the cove and reaveling it to the public. The people who are making the TV series are the people from the Save Japan Dolphins foundation which I am donating to which I though was awesome. Google Blood Dolphin$ and you should be able to see one episode (and they dont show the dolphins getting killed, they just talk about and show where the cove is) .

No I don't know when it will be showing and I tried to check the show times but I couldnt find it......maybe try Animal Planets website?

Has anyone here read Island of the Blue Dolphins? Honestly, I have never read it and I am not even sure if it is about dolphins.

It's not really about dolphins but it is a really good book and I really enjoyed reading it. It's called Island of the Blue Dolphins because the island is surrounded by pods of dolphins.

Ermm... We need a dolphin/whale question... Until we think of a half decent one, what about...
What is your favourite breed of whale/dolphin?

Mine is the common dolphin. I know many people love the bottlenose but in my opinion, the common dolphin is just that much prettier.
As for the whales, the beluga has to be my favourite. And I've seen them in the wild, they are just gorgeous.

Blaise/kalbers: No I have not read Island of the Blue Dolphins but I have read a book review and like one of you said it didn't sound that it had much to do with dolphins. But I have read A Ring of Endless Light and it is about dolphins, and by far the best book EVER (it is by Madlen L'Engle one of the awesomest authors <3).....NOW GO READ IT it is serisouly AMAZING <3333

Tesshin: My favroite breed of dolphin is bottlenosed dolphin (yes, the breed that everyone knows and loves) but they are truly georgus (not that other ones are not <3) and I just love their plain but yet beatiful look!

My fav. whale breed would also have to be beluga or orca, beluga's just have adorables faces XD
