This lonely soul died as a kit, and surprisingly grew to an adult. He reaps the souls of the lost and of the children. He is not fully transparent (95%) so he usually comes to comfort the children before they pass and he reaps their souls.

This is Rikzer, a fairly unmotivated young man who ... isn't entirely sure why he's out trick or treating? Mostly he just likes seeing all the costumes and they come in handy as a great distracted tips between hunting down the Masquerades. He doesn't really seem to have an interest in much of anything, but who knows, maybe he'll lighten up as the night/event goes on??

um hi i'm not exactly new to the sima community, i've tried out for a few but uh not had any success, so hi there, i'm purridot, i'm currently a non-owner who loves the species and wants one of her own but i'm not sure since i think the species has stopped producing adoptables, right? anyway i uh wasn't sure if this was the right place to post this but oh well...

so uh it's nice to meet everyone here

No, it's not stopped.
There haven't been any adoptables on the main thread for awhile because it was closed temporarily while qual got some things set up, and now we've got the halloween event going on, so there probably won't be many adopts out on the main page, but there are some event simas up for adoption, and you can find those if you go here, to the event page. You can also win customs, myos, and items through the event. c:

i've had a read over the main event post and i'm not very good at understanding things so i'm honestly quite confused as to how it works, if anyone could explain it in simpler terms, i'd appreciate it ; v ;
i saw some of the adopts haven't ended so that's good
but i just don't understand how to get candies and stuff aaaa
