Niap is human form, the only time she enters into her other two forms would be 1.5% of the time. Thus, I would consider her settled from my understanding of the matter.

And no, I defiantly would not consider her a head-mate. She is more seperate from myself, though I guess since some people do not hold same views on the soul I guess some people may consider her that? Good to know totems are not considered dæmons, though I wouldn't exactly make that clarification. Then again, I guess it all deals with perception and personal belief once again.

Since I am very new to this community, perhaps I should simply be an observer and not a participant for it seems to be plenty of misunderstandings on my own end. The only time I have even heard of dæmon was in an Otherkin community, and it wasn't very thoroughly explained... the website was helpful, but it seems from all the responses that Niap and myself wouldn't fit too well into the category? ... Ummm, this is seeming more conflicting and problematic. If Niap is not acceptable, then please just tell me so and I will merely withdraw my application.

Also, after reading the FAQ, I believe I have a better understanding and believe Niap is more separate from myself then would be classified as a dæmon. A guardian spirit, a sister, a companion -not a represenation of my own mind/conscious -from my comprehension of the matter. Sorry to have bothered everyone, and caused any sort of ruckus ^-^;
