Yeah, like my friend says "if you get really cold, all you have to do is (a) put on more clothing or (b) drink something warm. But the heat you can't escape!" I think unless your roots are so deep that you've possibly been biologically engineered to stand the heat, its best to avoid GA. Apparently, even Florida is cooler... which I'd guess have something to do with the intense amount of water they have around them.
I love Atlanta, but I don't really notice its pollution levels mainly because I've never lived anywhere else. However our mountains up north in the state are quite clean and very beautiful. It really is just urban/vs/rural not so much a state-wide thing.
Anyway, this is a particularly hot summer so to answer your earlier question; nah, its not always this hot/humid deep south. I mean, Georgia had a drought and now this so we're used to it by now but it is classified as abnormally hot. So I figure its usually easier than this. That being said, we've had much colder winters down here as well...
Enjoy your stay down south before you move! xD We're not as bad as the movies make us out to be //overprotective.

Pffft, no one would believe me anyways. They'd think IIII was the freak. (kidding everyone. It's a... Strange? friendly relationship...)
Anyways, I like mild, and slightly cloudy. I cannot STAND super humidity, hate it, but as my job (training horses/working at barn), I have to deal with it a bit. I don't get cold too easily, a slight chill is very comfortable.
My Dream Pet (if anyone cares), is a Jewelry Sun. <3

@Madame Butterfly: Exactly- the heat is impossible to avoid! It's so much easier to get warm than to get cold. I've pretty much been keeping inside unless it rains, which keeps the heat down to a level I can actually tolerate.
-whistles- Whoo, I'll most definitely have to avoid GA, then. |D;; 74 degrees Fahrenheit is still warm to me, so you can imagine how I'd fair down there. Where I'm staying is usually in the mid-90s, and I'm meltingggg~
I actually like the south, heat aside. :3 It's really not bad! Though the thicker accents are a little hard to understand... I'm getting used to it. You're right, the movies don't do it any justice. <3
@Emily: Indeed. It's a friendly, dysfunctional relationship. |D
I handle the cold much better than the heat, obviously, but I still freeze quite easily. {Probably due to my size; I'm too thin for my own good. ._.} The humidity is... something very new to me, but I don't seem to have too much of a problem with it. It still feels very odd, though. Quite... heavy. {I'm used to very thin air- there's little oxygen up in the higher elevations.}

Simultaneously a bump and an announcement. :3
I'm home~~~ =w= Back to the middle of no where, with full-time internet. So I'll hopefully be a bit more active. c:
I hope you all like this month's litter! Though everyone's high expectations kind of scare me a bit. owo;; Just remember, I haven't confirmed nor denied anything about what they will look like; so if they don't turn out exactly as you're expecting, try not to be too disappointed? ^^;;;
If it's worth anything, I quite like them. :3 They where made around the same time as the "Eat Me" and "Drink Me" sets, and I had a really good artistic streak going at the time.

*pokes head in* Hello...is it too late for me to join the fan club? I just realized this thread existed and I'd love to join in. :3
Your artistic style is beautiful, Hoshiko, and you're so very creative! I also can't thank you enough for your supportive comments on my writing, too. Each comment I get from you is awesome because I feel like I've sparked your creativity in the same way your creations spark my imagination and inspire me to write. :3 Your designs have actually inspired some really great character ideas for me, and I'm sure they'll only continue to do so. <3

Oh good, I found the fan club.

I'm having such a fangasm over the new pets (just waxed poetic about their awesomeness in the August thread), I think I'm required to join. XD I really do love all of Hoshiko's pets and items, her style of art is just gorgeous. <3
Oh, and I very much doubt we'll be disappointed with this new set, they already look amazing. Plus I'm not sure what to expect yet besides general awesomeness. ^^

@Caelwit: It's never too late to join! :D
And thank you so much for your kind words- I'm incredibility happy to hear that, and know that my art is inspiring to someone other than myself. ^^; And of course, your writing is beautiful and poetic in a way that I envy and admire, and I'll always be inspired by your work! Nothing sets off artistic talent like good writing, and you're certainly a very talented author. <3
@Deja: Thank you very much! >w<
For joining and for the compliments- Truth be told, I was {and still am} rather worried about what people would think about the stone pups... I really just wanted to play with the texture, the small cracks and "rough" feeling of stone or statues. It was less about creating something really "out there" and more about experimentation with texture. The CS dogs are like my guinea-pigs, figuratively speaking, and I tend to test out new ideas on them first, before applying those new skills to my other work. :3"
I do think they make good pets, though. Especially the ungrown one. ^^ That one has a few more... cracks, than the first.

So they are definatly stone pups then?

Having serious issues viewing dark colours at the moment. May delay replys to pms. Sorry.
The Leopard Pups
Grey, Black and White. The world revolves and we go with it. Twisting in this everlasting monotony, eyes of green and gold, watching and waiting for our chance, our time. Cytor, Liliana, Serenade, Bayonet, the Prankster, the sweet one, the mother and the lost soul. There birth was a lost event, one in a million, two wandering souls met in the shadows, and these four were created. There pups are the stuff of legend, one lost there sight, one lost there path, one lost there love and the other? The other lost his family, everyone they cared about. He lost his family.
