so when Peridot became one of the gems ahhhhh I almost cried a tear of joy.
WHY does YD (Yellow diamond) remind me so much of Jasper?? And now,
does this mean that "a Jasper" is a common gem?? Since YD had no problem
with assigning one to peridot 8'D

I think so. I mean they were maybe warrior gems so they might have made more so they can fight in battle. She may remind you of jasper because she has eyes like jasper does. I am surprised Peridot did not tell YD that Jasper is fused with Lapis. I mean wouldn't she freak out if one of her loyal warriors was fused with another gem? For all we know fusion with another gem is "bad"

Spoilers, and theories and me rambling.

Actually in the episode "The Answer" there seems to be the silhouettes of either Jasper's or Quartz's guarding Blue Diamond. So I would think that is a common body guard/warrior class gem. I am going to have to abstain from all my random thoughts and theories though. I need to see the last episode this week, and then binge watch them all at once. Then maybe I can properly make all these thoughts a bit more organized. I have far too many complex notions to what is going on, but mostly things involving Gems in general, world building and Gem society.

I think the biggest question is: "We are a space faring race designed to conquer other worlds" - Peridot, It Could've Been Great
...who designed them? D:
Like I think that is such an important question and it seems to be missing. Like Diamonds are in charge, and supposed to be perfect and flawless according to Peridot... but we already know that Gems are made and grown. Someone had to start that, question is who.

I haven't watched most episodes because my cn is not the american one, so it doesn't show the latest ones, but i can pick out the story from the posts I've seen buttt

Peri is one of my favourite characters, and she roasted YD so hard
