also this has just came to me but there has been actually quite a lot of links between gamzee and halves like he has 2 personalities, after his snap he types half caps, half lower case, theres the whole :o) :o( 2 faces thing, this is just the whole split gamzee brought to a conclusion
we know gamzees technically immortal, what if his 2 halves form his 2 seperate personalities, so we end up with a :o) good gamzee and a :o( bad gamzee
also theres a lot of talk about this being a doomed timeline, and i wonder if theres any sort of significance to characters being thrown out of the panels at various parts in the flash?? lots of homestuck recently has had "out of panel" scenes, and john has been out of the timeline for a while, and i think this could be hinting towards something in the story about how characters escape the narrative maybe??? idk i still gotta think about this hahah
