BK,

No problem, glad I could help! C: -- They definitely will make beautifully images separately, I believe. The howling wolf seems to go very well with the background, while the other two make a very nice pair.

Asaki,

As far as digital painting goes, you may want to try to AVOID the blur tools. Try just painting, rather than laying down colours and smudging them wherever you like. I find that with painting, you really need to focus on the actual strokes of your brushes.
You can always lower the opacity of your actual brush-- the density and tip shape too-- to play around with the effects you'll get. With SAI, you can also adjust how much your brush "blends" into colours already laid down.
Defining your edges may also help a lot. The head area looks very nice, but the legs appear molded together, as there is no clear line where they actually are.

@ Astrous- Can I have some your skills? o_o
You're human drawing skills seem pretty amazing, and I can find nothing wrong with that at all.

Does anyone know of anyone that is good at drawing big cats?

EDIT:

I hav a Wacom tablet and my friend wats to try it out. I just hooked it up and started it. On the computer it popped up saying "Tablet driver is not running." My tablet's light is on and it gets brighter when I touch the sensor area with the pen (witch is nomal). But it wont move the cursor when I move my pen on the sensored screen.
Please help.

Oh, this happens to me a lot.

My Intuous 4 has a temper tantrum if I start up my computer and my memory stick is still in. Check if anything is still plugged in, like a memory/USB stick or an iPod (I don't think my iPod does much but it may do something), if there is then take them out and restart the computer. Once you have the computer running, check your tablet works and then put in any USBs.

That's the only way that works for me. So, I hope this helps.

I'm sorry guys, but I'm useless at animal anatomy. I pretty much can only do humans and even they're a bit messed up.

I was wondering if any one had good tips for drawing male anatomy. I mean. I found these pretty useful tutorials on dA, but I was wondering if there were any good tips for drawing guys. These are good, but I wanna know from you people!

Hello there. :3

I'm pretty new to being an "artist", especially a digital one. I'm afraid I'm still a begginer and I can't really see much critism needed for the above. ^^

Would anybody be able to help me out with a portrait? I could really do with some help with human hair. I can't find any tutorials or anything to help.

Link to image.

Any kind of constructive critism is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Considering the ref, I think you need a bit more hanging around the face to kind of frame it and making the neck a bit thinner woud help too! It's hard to explain, so I could redline it, only if you want me to.

Human hair is wierd, the way it falls and lighting can really change it's look!

Aw, it looks so cute. ;w; /sucker for cute looking creatures
The creature's right forearm looks short when you compare with it's left forearm, as well as it's digits appears to be, again, shorter than the other digits on it's left forearm.

I also like to point out that it's forearms is a bit thin and looks rather weak, which is odd because it somehow able to hold it's stocky, heavy looking body.

There's a wobbly looking line between it's rear and it's hindleg--is it just a lineart mistake or...?

Annnd that's all the pointers I can give you, sorry if I'm not helpful enough. OTL
