I've read Wicca for the Solitary Practictioner and Living Wicca: A Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham as well. My first book, however, was Wicca for Beginners by Thea Sabin; I felt it helped give me a good foundation to start from.

I also live in the Bible Belt. Here's a suggestion for you, Songa -- buy books online. (: You can find used books all over the place. Personally amazon.com is my favourite; they've got a lot of deals. I buy Visa gift cards to use online so no one can get any of my personal information. They're a bit pricey -- twenty-eight dollars for a card with twenty-five dollars of credit -- but they're really worth it. Maybe that could work for you?

The boxes ought to just have an address on them. (: So I think your secret would be safe. Just keep an eye on the mail so no curious family members open the boxes while you're away. (;

You can be open about your religion to some extent, but I just came to a point in the book I am reading that says when an apprentice starts the Book of Shadows, he/she should start to learn secrecy a little more, because even though there's freedom of religion you can still find many anti-witch groups online. It is vital that witches only reveal themselves to each other and those closest to them, who can be trusted. It scares me that extremest groups like that are still around... :?

Hey everyone, I just got a deck of tarot cards from my aunt Vikki, she's Wiccan and so are her daughters who are my age, I had never asked until last night when I visited them. It turns out lots of people my mom know are or were Wiccan and already 2 (including Vikki) have donated from their personal libraries.
I'm Quitting CS, my bff will continue all my characters, you wont notice much because she's been RPing for me a lot. I will let her log on to this account because if she doesn't than Dewclan, my warrior cat RP, will have a VERY outdated list. Her Username will be Willowkit17, like mine was. GoodBye CS, My pets are up for grabs ;)

Oh...Wow I guess I'm just lucky. But I still feel bad, trading my boyfriend for my new religion...
