Got a question; when we send the adoption cap form, do we only fill it out for one of five characters we've adopted, all characters in one form, a different form for each character, or what?

Only for one if you're applying for one donation slot.

That's what Atwood told me when I applied for my extra slot. I had thought that nine pages of typing was a little much for a single slot. ^^'

WarriorCat and I both assumed that it would need to show that all the characters were being used (since someone might have only one character that they use while the other four are never touched), so, yeah, I had WarriorCat fill out forms showing use for all five previously-adopted characters. XD Sorry about that - perils of being the first test subject, I guess. For the question of use, as Wendigo said there are times when characters get put on hold for a while, maybe because the right opportunity hasn't come up for them yet or because you're busy with other characters for now, so don't feel that you have to be meeting a monthly use quota on all of them or anything. So long as the character hasn't been abandoned and you do have plans for them or have attempted to get things of them (since you might enter them in three RPs that then die or request art that is never received, giving you nothing to show for your efforts), I think that would count as acceptable. :3

You don't have to give a character up; you just have to show that you're using the ones that you've already adopted. If you did return one, of course it would dissapear from your name. Once you return it it's no longer your character. :3

No, you don't have to return a character to gain a new slot - the adoption cap slot is given in addition to the first five adoptions. ;3 If you do have to return a character, it's taken off your list, since you no longer own it.
