I didn't think Katniss was mentslly stable enough to have kids! But whatever, haha.

I liked Annie and Finnick, yeah. My friends and I always say Katniss and Cinna shoulda hooked up, and Haymitch and Katniss's mom! XD

Cinna I honestly think was gay. I can't prove it, but he seemed like it, and that was part of why I loved him<3

Spoiler alert: Prim's death almost made me cry. Finnick's death was also sad, as he was one of my favorite character's, while Prim was not, but I don't know, I felt as though Suzanne Collins could have put more into in his death. It was like, what, a paragraph? But about Prim's death- it reminded me of something, I can't quite think of what it was, but when I read that part, it made me think of perhaps something I learned in history class. *shrugs*

I believe the part about sending children into an arena each year was from the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, where every spring, Athens had to send 7 girls and 7 boys (not totally positive on the number) to Crete to be devoured in the Labrynth.

yeah that part definantly came from the thesis story, i know A LOT more about greek mythology than roman even though its similar. But i couldve swore she said something about rome too. Of course that couldve been gladiators

I think some of the characters names came from Rome, like Cato and Cinna.
