Got a couple characters today!!


Runic, an old familiar summoned by a now-dead magician. Technically a demon, and with the capability to use dark magic, Runic is considered dangerous. However, to those able to tame him, he is more loyal than any dog. His pupil and runes glow when he uses his magic. Also, the runes aren't actually in his fur naturally (they can change!), but rather appear. They are always, however, symbols of dark magic, destruction, and other negativity.

Appearance wise the tininess and the blue eyes (though mine aren't nearly as bright as his lol). He has a lot of the same clothes I do, or clothes I'd own if I could find them irl. He exists in pretty much all the universes in my head, so while one version of him definitely does have my history it's just not interesting enough to think about lol.

He probably isn't actively avoiding at all and just hasn't realised they haven't spoken. Riley brings it up with him over tea and he spends hours apologising and offers to play mario kart with her instead.

If he's upset it's probably because Mikey said something to Iri that was slightly misconstrued. Corentin just gives Mike the Face of Disdain

Abbie's pretty much a self-insert if I'm being honest, I'm considering getting a new fursona that is less of a self-insert.

What connects your fursona to you? appearance? personality? history? something else?
Pretty much everything tbh. Her appearance is entirely based upon me and her personality is pretty much exactly me. All of her items are things I really have but may not have as much importance as they do to her.

They both hate confrontation and back down really quickly so it would probably be a two second argument over something really minor like what movie to watch or something. Tea would probably win.

Coal is a sneaky, manipulative creature so it's not surprising that Abbie might not want to be around her. Normally she might be able to tolerate her but she might be having a rough day. Coal's probably proud tbh.

[4] is upset with [3]. why are they upset and how do they express it? what does [3] do about it?
Noah gets upset pretty easily and Lark tends to have a 'go with the flow' personality so they were probably too nonchalant about something that Noah thought was important. He'll probably go hide and wrap himself in his cape. Lark will probably not even realize anything happened, and if they do they'll probably shrug it off.

[7] is going through [3]'s things. what are they looking for? Are they looking for anything?
Lucy has a...minor crush on Lark so she's probably being a bit stalker-ish about it. She's probably not looking for anything in particular.

Do you roleplay/portray your non-human characters as more feral or human-like? Do they behave more like they would naturally, or do you have them act similarly to a human?(plays video games, eats pizza etc)
Usually more human-like. Some characters I use both as feral and human-like (namely Basil)

Definitely characters with an already revealed ref/design.

Felt like answering a couple of questions, so I did xD

for the reference of anyone who wants to know, Sentoki is my fursona (art and design both by me)

What connects your fursona to you? appearance? personality? history? something else?
I would say my fursona and I are connected by a little bit of everything. Except history. I never did manage to come up with an actual history for him.

Appearance-wise, his blind right eye would pretty much represent my own, although mine is half-blind and not fully gone. The scar is pretty much the same as well, except for the fact that mine is located at a different place (under ear and stretching to top of head rather than over the eye).

His colours are a representation of my favourite colours, and his species is mix of my favourite real-life animal and my favourite fantasy species.

One other thing of his appearance that I would say connects him and me would be that I've been revamping him once every 2 years or so (originally designed him in 2011, then revamped once in 2013 and then again in 2015) to match our ages, experiences, and also update his design to match my then favourite colours. Traits are also updated to match what I feel would fit him at that point of time too.

Personality-wise though, I'll answer that in the next question.

Sentoki is a little bit of both, plus a little more of something else as well.
His main personality was derived from my actual personality, but was touched up a bit to make him more...unique to himself, along with some parts of his personality added to represent what I hope I would be able to become in the future. You can say that his personality represents the current me as well as a hopeful future me? But yeah, he has a personality that's both unique and shared with me.

my fursona is partly connected to me by personality, but mostly connected to me in zodiac symbolism and a bit by appearance. they're a tiny lion x rabbit, which holds the zodiac (western and chinese) symbolism plus my height and their nose and paws usually are in grosser and/or darker due to bad habits. however my persona has a similar personality along with the basically same clothes.

Do you prefer hidden egg adopts,that reveal once bought,or just buy characters with an already revealed ref/design?:
i can see the charm in getting a hidden egg because it's hidden, but i'd need proof in examples that i could find that i'll get a character with a lot of potential or a good quality character. otherwise revealed would be better, but then you don't really need the hidden egg idea anyway.
