I have been interested in photography for awhile now, and I wanted to show you guys some of my best pictures of 2011. These were all taken with a myTouch 3G Slide cell phone.

Now that you've seen them, do you guys/gals think I should continue with my photography? Of course the pictures would be taken with my Sony digital still camera, which gives much better quality than my phone. XD

Orange: The main thing that I notice about the cat is her nose. It look more like a canine nose than a feline's. Here is a tutorial I've found that shows what I mean, I think so at least x3

I created a new character, meet Muffin! I'm not quite sure what he is species-wise, kind of like a rodent and a bird or something xD I know I stuffed up his feet pretty bad...I couldn't decide if I wanted him to have skinny toes or larger ones, but managed doing one of each >.< I'll fix them shortly, lol. Any comments/critiques?

That is really sexy. I personally would pop a set of long sharp ears on cause I think those would look cool but overall that's pretty awesome.

Those are very nice for a phone, painted, but to find out whether they are really amazing photos, there's this trick I learned, a few years ago~
You divide the picture into thirds, vertically and horizontally, and try to have your potential point(s) of focus at an intersection between two lines (as opposed to, say, smack in the middle or along the edge). That way, it ensures that the point of focus is the point of focus, and all the viewer can look at.
