Tried my first animation......

I have been a bit obsessed with drawing animals out of my ability. I usualy draw dogs, but suddenly an urge to draw felines and other non-canid animals came over me :B
And as you may see I am not as used to them as I am my dogs. Light crits please, and maybe a good cat refrence^^

Necks rather long and "thick", I'm not sure but it's just wrong.
Head is a bit small, compared to the rest of the body.

Going for a cat eh? Good choice,they so fun because of their quirkiness. x3
Is the body supposed to eb long? If not then make it a tad bit shorter. Also what I do with cats is give them a slope upwards at the back,they're really flexible,and make the shoulder more prominent. You can see the shoulder quite a bit with cats,unlike dogs. The tail is a bit too low for a cat or a dog as well,it's not at the spine's level,it's more like the bum. ^^; The neck and head are off too,neck's is way too long,and the head is tiny compared to the rest. C:
Sorry if you didn't want critique! It's like a habit for me. ;u;<3 You got the anatomy good for dogs though! Cats are chubbier,and I've pointed the differences out here.

I hate drawing cats. I am so used to the anatomy of dogs, and cats are soooooooo different compared to them.
but i am trying and every time I get A LITTLE BIT ANATOMICLY CORRECT (OR SO i THINK)^^'

Same,it's dreadful learning new animals,I still have trouble with cats. ^^;
Just try accentuating the should,raising the back spine more,and giving it strong front legs. x3 Those are the key cat traits in drawing,except their faces. Which oh god,I can not explain. lol

I've been told their faces slop down a bit and their paws are sort of 'bulky looking'. Flexable almost like hands, but bold and very defined. I did a wonderful realistic sketch of my cat lying on my pillow, which was amazing since she was doing that at the time, but i cannot upload it :<

Yep,their face slopes down much more than a dog's into a sort of tear drop most say. It's like super hard for me though,makes me wanna curl up and hide rofl. A dog's forhead and the bottom of their jawline is parellal(Sp? D:) I believe,and cats have like an acute angle or something I'm not sure entirely.
That really sucks! :C Don't you have a camera? Or did the picture get ruined?

Orange: The main thing that I notice about the cat is her nose. It look more like a canine nose than a feline's. Here is a tutorial I've found that shows what I mean, I think so at least x3

I created a new character, meet Muffin! I'm not quite sure what he is species-wise, kind of like a rodent and a bird or something xD I know I stuffed up his feet pretty bad...I couldn't decide if I wanted him to have skinny toes or larger ones, but managed doing one of each >.< I'll fix them shortly, lol. Any comments/critiques?
