@Kydashing: Asking Eloise a question right now <33
@Modern.Vintage: I hope you can find someone! I would help, but I'm going on hiatus ;n;
@blueh: That art is gorgeous omg <333I apologize in advance if any of the wording in this is a bit weird - I'm still incredibly lightheaded from a ton of blood work I've had to get done so it's a bit hard to focus omg 0":
I just wanted to answer a few questions before I go back on hiatus again :>
Unfortunately I just can't keep up with CS and DA between going to the doctor's office 24/7 and feeling completely and utterly like death warmed over, so I have to call it quits for now. I might poof in every once in a while when I get bored, but for the most part I'll just be trying to relax until I feel well enough to handle internet stuff and drama again |"D
It's really nice to take a break from the stress, even if I'll miss the heck out of everyone :"C
So, yeah. Now that I'm off of that tangent......question answer time yeee!!
Who do you really want to know better from the community?I'd love to get to know ȶigressa, aaronzee, Slimedog, and.....everyone else XD
You guys all seem super cool, I feel so bad not being around here much anymore!! I don't get to meet as many people which can be a bit frustrating, especially since I've been hooked on plumies since they were created and it feels like I don't really know many people here anymore </3
Your friends in the community?ƜσℓʌɛƨǤσЯαωя was one of the first friends I made in this community, if not the
very first ;w;
Not only do we have our plumie ship, Chesian (which has become such a huge family in one year, almost on the dot actually), but we also co-own a kiamara together! She definitely rocks <333
Are your Plumerians based on real people? If so, who? [i.e, a hero of yours, a friend, etc]Ayodele is based off of my friend Emamoke, whose parents made the hard choice of migrating to America from Nigeria so her and her brother Akpiroro could have better futures with good educations. I sort of changed this up a little bit to where Ayodele is leaving her family in Africa to fulfill her dreams in America, and faces the fear that she might not be able to succeed. If she does, she know she will make her family proud, and because of this hope she continues to give it her all no matter what will happen in the end.
Cale is based on a close friend of mine, Michael, who is a super rad dye-hard ;w;
At first it was only the similarish name that they had in common, and I picked it because they both had colorful hair, but as I've had him his personality has definitely molded closer to Michael's. In a way he sort of represents his insecurities and how he has dealt with them, acting in ways he isn't really to try and make those things disappear no matter how hard it may be. So for example, the more Cale becomes a rule-breaker, the more Michael is actually becoming that way in real life and is influencing me in ways that I change Cale to fit to him better. It's a really interesting transition from the innocent kid both of them were to who they are now. One thing that I thought was especially interesting was how it's not always Michael who changes before Cale. I made Cale be a smoker because he found it as a way to vent out bad emotions, and a bit surprisingly, I actually found out Michael now smokes a few days ago. They're becoming more alike in ways I never could of imagined......
I also based my kiamara Michael on Michael as well XD
However he's more on the side of how Michael first appeared to me, and how he still appears to the public - not a bad-boy, but just a super cool suave guy. No one really gets to see the other side of him until they've known him for long enough, so in a way both characters are unique though they are based on the same person.
Do you feel the need to have more than one plumerian? Or are you content with just one?Though I currently have five plumies, I can definitely say that I was content with just Phasian when I got him and I've never necessarily felt the need for more. I tried out for plumies because of connections I felt, not to fill slots, so I was never really in a rush for more - I just happened to connect to Ayodele, and was completely shocked when I won her as my second plumie <33
Since then I've only ever gotten plumies from breedings, and I have no intentions of trying out for another. My last slot is going to be saved for quite some time - I want to develop the plumies I have now before filling it, if I ever connect with another plumie enough to do so ;w;
If you have a plumie, what contest did you win them in?Phasian: For 24's contest, I had to give him a talent. I chose that he could produce abrasive gases from his body that glowed and were really smelly X"D Poor Phasian I'm sorry bae </3
Ayodele: For 173's contest, I had to find a picture of a cool hybrid. Because I'm insanely obsessed with big cats, I used my all time favorite one: a leopard x puma, also known as a pumapard. It's really rare to see a hybrid between the two since they live on entirely different halves of the world and are only bred in captivity. Most of the time they have dwarfism, which I think is super cute although this makes it much less humane to breed them on purpose ^^' <333
Cale, Wyatt, and Tessa were all from breedings :"DHave you known any other users before joining the community?I honestly didn't know anyone here at all, but it seemed like a cool species so I took the chance to meet new people :"D
What helped you create/express you plumies personality?I usually base my plumies off of people,

do people buy your art?Surprisingly yes. I never thought my art was very good, and to be honest I sell it for cheaper than it probably should be, but I have at least a few fans who enjoy it enough to buy it (though I rarely open commissions anymore do to being busy and sick).
Selling art can be extremely hard sometimes, but definitely keep trying and never give up!! Sometimes it just takes a little advertising (e.g., showing examples, doing free requests, hosting raffles, making a shop, hosting jms, etc) to reach out to various people who just haven't seen your art yet but would love to buy it if they did. This was my main problem when I started selling art about a year ago, and it may not be easy, but if you love making art and want to sell it it'll turn in your favor (:
do people request art from you?Sometimes when I have the time! When I was starting out that's pretty much all I did, aside from sending people gifts to catch their attention. I usually host a jm and ask for requests, which can be a lot of fun if you get enough people X3
if you post free art, do you get people wanting any?Everyone loves free art, and there are a lot of people looking to snag some at every opportunity they can get so I'd have to say yes! Though it may be a small crowd at first, the number of people will gradually grow - just be careful not to overwhelm yourself doing too much free art. After a while it can feel like a lot, which is when you can gradually start to bump up prices to make it worth your time (:
Edit;; Forgot to answer one of the questions for Phasian haha. All better~!!
