OMG so happy, yesterday the man from the rescue center came to check on Pablo for his final check and he was very happy. Pablo is officially my baby :D

Echo lost one of her babies today, the runt. My mom was really upset, she was going to keep little Oddball ( even though I didn't know that cx) It is sad, but with that big of a litter, I wasn't expecting them all to make it.

The other twelve are doing great though, I've found homes for four of them, with one staying here (Sharkie, who is the largest and a boy). We have ten boys and two little girls.

Aww.. poor Oddball.. do you have any pics, like Raven Feather said? It would be cool to see pics! I would add pics of my pet rat, Monkey, but my computer is confusing.. XD

Ahh, I just heard from my own mother's mouth that she wanted rats. Getting two for sure once we move. <3 That's in two months and I can't wait!

Although, I'm scared of what my dog will do if I introduce him to rats. I'm not sure if I should even introduce him at all...Any opinions?

I wouldn't introduce your dog to them. Not out the cage anyway. Dogs will kill rats even if it seems out of their character, I have a mini Jack Russell who doesn't have much pray drive and she likes to lick our guinea pigs through the bars of the run but as soon as they are out their cage they seem like a toy to her although we don't let her near them. I know they are Gpigs but rats are more vulnerable.

My cats are ok with my rats well 2 out of 3 are lol the 2 younger ones grew up with small animals such as ferrets and mice and have learned no to hurt them

lol my cat is scared of rats. My old rat Miley bit his paw through the cage and made him bleed now he is terrified of them. Poor thing :( but i guess it means he won't hurt them so kinda good. I would never trust my cat with my rats though.

My cats are all like "Oh you look tasty what are you?" and then in like dont eat my ratties and they walk away or lay down with me and the rats XD
