I got LOTMS for one of my birthdays a while ago and I watched it by myself while all my friends were just hanging out at my house. Best thing ever. The parts with Gerard's addiction etc. are really sad and hard to watch.

I haven't watched that video yet but I have watched a few other videos with him talking about his depression and addiction, and some bits are totally heartbreaking.
So proud of him for coming clean in 14 days though

I have to agree with blue and Chemicello though, the parts about Gerard's addiction are pretty painful/hard to watch. So glad he isn't that person anymore...

It's really nice to see how strong he's become in the years after Three Cheers era. I know right around MCR's breakup he had a little bit of a relapse according to a message he posted to Twitter, but he's overcome that of course. It just sucks that people are poking fun at his weight even though the weight gain is most likely a side effect of his anti-depressant/anxiety medication. He's really an inspiration, along with Mikey.

^ I agree w/ b l u e, its such a shame people have nothing better to do then call him fat, which he isn't really rather than see the inspiring person he is. Ah well, superficial world we live in makes it hard.

It stinks how judgemental and hate filled everyone seems to be about everything these days. C'mon, Gerard is not fat. He's a perfectly healthy size. But yeah, even people as awesome as Gerard still get plenty of hate.

@Destruction How was your visit with Gee? Bet it was amazing!!

I agree with It's Still 2005, people will find anything to tear someone - especially someone successful and famous - apart for. A lot of NIN "fans" tore Trent down when he went sober in a similar way to the hate Gerard has received. Some people just can't be happy that someone overcame something, especially if it's something they wouldn't be strong enough to overcome or accomplish.

There is nothing fat about Gerard; and besides, he's no heavier now then he was in 2004-2005 when he was drinking heavily. He's never been super skinny, but it's such a trivial thing to complain about...he's a brilliant musician and overall guy so who cares about his appearance?
