Question though and I'm probably going to make it a poll question for a while, but to discus.
For breeding; If there is only one person breeding their 2 Rukami should the likely hood for getting 1 kit be higher? It's not that I'm opposed to giving out tons of babies! It just makes me a little sad to see all these babies go to the same person... <.<' I just want the community to be bigger *fidgets awkwardly*

edit; Oooor like as the owner of both you can only keep 1 kit from each litter and have to gift or adopt out the kit..?

Yeah I think if they have two or more kits then they should keep one and gift/ hold a small contest for the others.

I think if one person breeds two of their kamis together, they should keep one and hold a contest for non-owners for the other, or give it away to someone who hasn't got one yet.

However, if two people breed their kami together and they both want to increase the Kami society, they can go halvsies on a Fertility Powder, keep a baby each and hold a contest for non-owners with both of them judging the contest.

I think, when a member breeds two of it's own rukami and there are 2 Kits this member should be able to choose one and the other should be open for adoption like a normal Rukami. (It also will be grown one day so i think it's only fair to hold a normal and no easy/small contest)
I'm not a fan of the non-owner idea because there are people, who see a Kit, which could be adopted easily, get them and then 'never return' and i think, that you don't really now who is a owner and who isn't one if you didn't follow every adoption.
When two different users breed then i think they should be allowed to keep both (one kit for every member) and if one doesn't want his/her kit, then the idea above should be 'activated' that they're just allowed to have one and giving the other one up for adoption ^-^
The thing what i not really like is, that if 2 different users breed and one kit is just born, that they have to argue with each other, who will get the Kit... if the other one doesn't like it then all the better but if both want it i think it's always kind of frustrating.... or what do you guys think about that?

Personally I'm uncomfortable with the idea.

Although there is a chance for one kit, of there is two or more then the owner who is submitting the breeding ticket should be able to keep both kits. I mean if there is one person doing a breeding with two of their Kami, by all rights they can do what they'd like with their kits that they had bred. Weather place them up for adoption or keep or gift. It's their kits and where they go shouldn't be influenced by a rule. Sure I completely believe the idea means no harm, but I'm still not following it. I see your concern with the growth of rukami's, but it should be the breeders choice on what they do with their kits.

That was the reply to the second idea. The first idea about the lower chance seems reasonable but also I'm uncomfortable with that. Just because one person has two Kami that they mate, they shouldn't feel intimidated by a rule of a lower chance. It would effect the whole species is way. Having one kit, is rare. If their done in succession then that claim isn't valid. But it might keep people like me, who has an idea for breeding 2 Kami together of her own that go good together, from breeding them. Just because of the rule change.

Sorry but I'm not gonna follow this. I do like the idea itself, but giving it a thought, it's not for me. I want to breed my Kami openly with one who matches or closely fits that Kami, sure diversity is great, but about multiple breedings? The chance of one kit rises as each breeding goes up? Even with the use of that potion that ensures 3 or more kits in a breeding? It contradicts it. A rule saying one thing a potion saying another. I'd rather see a system of rolling for 2 or 1 with a system which is comparable with things already made. That way there is no outside influence. But users should still have the chance to keep both kits. It's their choice, and other they do so or not should not be weighed heavily upon by a rule.

I agree, but I feel it should be the users choice, in my experience there was two kits and both of us wanted one of those kits, so we agreed that next breeding they can have first pick and this breeding I would get first pick. I don't think the breeder can choose as they often make mistakes,

Some of you are misunderstanding a little. If two different users breed two different Rukami then they will very likely get 2 kits (at least from me, I can't force the nursery artists to make more than 1).
From what I've seen in the breedings I've done no one chooses to adopt out their kits (be it 1 user breeding or 2) yes these are your kits but it comes off as hoarding to me and that drives me insane. There is an unlimited amount of Rukami one can own but breeding is the easy way to get two Rukami and then do nothing with them :< and I don't like that idea. That's my thinking here at least.

Maybe every 2-3 times a person breeds their Rukami's, at least one kit has to be adopted out?

If you think of them as real being then one kit would be more likely the more they breed? Maybe put a cap on breeding such as each may only breed three or four times?
If I bred two of my own and got twins it would then involve story and family history. If I decided to keep both they would both have a story and personality. If I decided to give one away I wouldn't want my story to have a dead end so I would take care on who got the sibling to my baby. So even as an oc hoarder I say let them have two but I think a breeding cap per rukami is a good idea.

There is already a limit to how many times a Kami can breed ^^' it's 5 times.
