Daily dose of proper:
When calling something "it" or refering to something as "it", there's something to be careful about. There is the contraction for "it is" which is "it's." There is also "its", though. The difference is, one is a contraction, and the other is possesive for that "it" I was talking about.
Example: Its face is so strange. It's hard to look at!
There is
-Katie's (possesive for Katie)
-That guy's (possesive for guy)
-Her's (possesive or her)
And so on. There is almost always that "'s" at the end, but not when its the possesive for "it".
