What was your leader’s life like before the apocalypse began? Would they like to go back to it, or do they prefer the one they live now?
ezra was the owner of an aquarium in a fictional town, clearwater, in france, with his boyfriend, edmund. he's had his horse bucephalus since he was extremely young. he'd go back to his life before the apocalypse in a heartbeat.
How comfortable is your group with the base they live in currently? Would they like to move at some point?
they're quite comfortable! and they wouldn't want to move unless its absolutely necessary, it would be extremely hard to leave the aquarium, especially for ezra as it was a dream of his since he was five years old.
What is the family dynamic of your group like? Are they ruthless towards one another, or kind? How would they treat a traitor?
the night children are like family - they would die for each other. to outsiders they are ruthless, but they welcome strangers with open arms. a traitor for them would be heartbreaking, and depending on the severity of the situation they would be cast out.

vision was actually known as lucas before the apocalypse. as a child he lived in the bustling, crowded city. he naturally escaped that as soon as he grew old enough, fleeing to a secluded corner of nature. just before the apocalypse, he had recently married a young woman called hetty, and was preparing for their first child. they lived in a comfortable bungalow in the country, meaning that they didn't hear about the apocalypse until it was already in action. the two of them fled together, their home having been taken over by zombies. they were separated, and lucas went on to struggle with his own life in the new world.

the village is probably a lot more comfortable than anything else they have in mind. one complaint they might have would be how it's so big, it would be difficult to evacuate easily and smaller children might wander off and get attacked. horses and livestock conditions are rather cramped, unfortunately, but the houses are quite warm and safe. there are suitable playing areas for younger members, and several large look-out areas, so ultimately I think they're happy with it.
What is the family dynamic of your group like? Are they ruthless towards one another, or kind? How would they treat a traitor?
they're probably pretty serious and close-packed, with smaller groups scattered around. I expect a traitor would be severly punished, either with death or exile. they likely would struggle slightly with the teamwork side of things, but I'm sure they could deal with it. eventually.

Heath and his brother grew up on a cattle ranch. They had a good childhood and loving parents. Their mom “passed” a few months into the apocalypse and then their dad found her banging on the door. He told the boys to run and they did.
Heath obviously wishes the apocalypse had never happened, but he’s accepted it and doesn’t necessarily wish it would go back to normal.

They love it! It’s a bit hot and dusty, but it has everything they need. The town would have to be obliterated or completely overrun with zombies for them to leave.

Ever heard of honor among thieves? While they aren’t exactly criminals, the people of Valle Muerto gain their resources from...investigating abandoned houses and settlements. They would never steal from eachother. However, when a traitor is exposed or someone disrespects the sheriff and his partner, they’ll be cast out, never to be heard from again.

before the apocalypse, chen was a recent college graduate with a degree in computer science. he lived with his parents but avoided them most of the time, too busy looking for jobs or hanging out with friends. he was seen as very popular, though he never considered anyone his best friend, and often moved from group to group. he wasn't necessarily unhappy, but he wasn't happy either. he just kind of floated through life without much of an idea of what he wanted to do next, which makes him suited for the apocalypse. if he had a choice, he would choose to go back to the old world, if only because he only had to worry about being nagged by his mom about his job search, not about zombies.

project london currently lives in the museum. as a whole, they like the museum a lot and would probably stay there if they didn't already have plans to take buckingham palace. the mission of project london was to reclaim the major landmarks in london and start the government again. of all of the places, the original group barely managed to make it to the museum, as only chen survived. the museum is surprisingly well-fortified with only a few entrances to maintain and a lot of space for survivors to live in. project london is, at the heart, a group that always has their eye on the palace. while the museum serves their purposes well, and as much as chen enjoys the history and the various exhibits, claiming the palace as their base is their main objective.
What is the family dynamic of your group like? Are they ruthless towards one another, or kind? How would they treat a traitor?
project london was originally meant to be a military-style organization with teams sent out to fight the undead and claim major landmarks. however, under chen, it has taken on an entirely different character as one of just that, a family. though their group name is formal, the members act much like siblings, who bicker and argue at times, but care about one another. though there are many times when they grate upon one another's nerves, they are a stable support system who also work towards solutions for their problems. there may be outsiders in the group who are not as close to some as others, but traitors are not taken lightly. because a traitor is taken as both a betrayal of trust as well as sabotaging the group's goals, the traitor must stand before the adult members in a trial. if evidence is brought against the traitor and the prince and his high ranks conclude that the traitor is guilty, they will be exiled, never to be seen in london again or face death.

Amar had majored in drama in college and minored in foreign relations, and the job he picked after had led him to travel between France, the UK, and his home, the USA a lot. While not ideal, Amar loved getting to see new places and loved acting. If given the chance, Amar would love to go back to it now.
How comfortable is your group with the base they live in currently? Would they like to move at some point?
While there is a lot of rubble sitting around, Amar is comfortable in his camp as it his huge, his kind of thing, and pretty fortified against zombies. However, Amar knows that the Infected could easily find ways in unless he finds more to fortify it with. He would only move if the people of Ironclad's groups depended on it.
What is the family dynamic of your group like? Are they ruthless towards one another, or kind? How would they treat a traitor?
The family dynamic of Ironclad is like that of a neighborhood. Everybody knows everybody, but there may be quarrels between families, or good friendships. As long as you put the group before your own life, you are a-okay. If there was a traitor, Amar would kick them out, no problem. They're on their own with the Infected.

bridgit was a common, horse-obsessed, teenager before the world dissolved into chaos. she was fifth place in her class, which she was extremely upset about, and she was winning plaques left and right in her local ffa chapter. she did, however, battle with the fact that she was bullied by a girl for simple misunderstanding. for the last month before the apocalypse started, she was scared to come to school. her best friend, cameron, stuck by her side, and she had just started to develop feelings towards him when she spotted her bully, taylor, walking through the hall in short, lurching movements. bridgit fled, and hasn't seen cameron since. (cough cough, maybe soon, cough cough). bridgit would want to go back to her life before taylor became the wicked witch of the west (yet bridgit used a not-so-appropriate word instead of witch whenever she talked about her), but she much prefers the apocalypse as opposed to being bullied and terrified to go to school.
how comfortable is your group with the base they live in currently? would they like to move at some point?
bridgit is living in the stable, with richter of course, and she's actually quite happy there. she wouldn't leave it for the world. she wishes to upgrade it a bit, but she believes it to be a good, "stable" base. pun definitely intended. if she found a better base, maybe a more modern stable, she would move into in a heartbeat. bridgit only plans to stay in stables, however, since richter is with her and she has to keep her stallion with her.

the ruin riders are very wary of outsiders. newcomers must go through extensive tests to prove their loyalty before they're truly accepted. once they're accepted, it's like a giant group of siblings. fights and squabbles are bound to break out, but they love each other. traitors are completely frowned upon. if one ever happened to be among their members, and it was discovered, a death penalty would be instated. bridgit is still getting her "sea legs", so to speak, but she will eventually turn into a ruthless leader who will do anything to protect her people. even if that means breaking her most sacred law, no murder.

Neith was apart of an incredibly secretive league of assassins, built up of internationally-known hitmen of lethal talent. She served as an assassin and bodyguard, travelling around the world. She met a medical student named Ecko, who was the daughter of a mafia boss and was assigned Neith as her bodyguard, and the two developed feelings for each other. In some regards, Neith prefers life before the apocalypse, but there are some aspects that the woman prefers.
How comfortable is your group with the base they live in currently? Would they like to move at some point?
Noctes Daemones is quite comfortable living in their chosen base, and will likely not move but rather expand, probably claiming some areas around the territory. They live in a luxurious train station, with most of the people living in the hotel rooms at the hotel that's connected to the station. Some also choose to live in the trains themselves, which are quite fancy.
What is the family dynamic of your group like? Are they ruthless towards one another, or kind? How would they treat a traitor?
The Daemones are rather ruthless, constantly pushing each other farther and training & sparring with each other. They can be pretty cruel to each other, but if danger comes near they will protect each other fiercely, willing to lay down their life to protect others. Traitors are given no mercy, and are either thrown to the undead or killed.
