I just bought a Yoshi plush and a Mario one, they're so cute ;o;
on another note,
wow, I never noticed how much people haven't played Mario Galaxy... it's such a great game! I recommend it : )
Well, it's all about the entire Mario series. So Toad, Yoshi, etc. Just nothing like Zelda or Pokemon, or anything without relation to Mario. If it's apart of the Mario franchise, you're free to talk about it!
And I might borrow it from my boyfriend. I loved Super Mario Sunshine, one of my favorite games. But I was hoping that Nintendo would make a Super Mario Sunshine 2, not another similar game in a completely different setting. Oh well, if Galaxy 1 & 2 are both good, then I'll have to try.

Am I just getting old or are the Mario games becoming increasingly more childish?
For example, I've been playing Super Mario 3D World. Some parts of the game seem a lot more childish than previous games. They turned bombs into soccer balls, some enemies are football players, and I'm sure there's more that irks me while I'm playing but I can't think right now. And Bowser drives a car now...Too childish or too realistic? I can't decide. Either way, I like the old style better, when bombs were actually bombs, and enemies stuck to the traditional idea of enemies.
No matter how childish they may seem to me, I'll still always love the games. I'll probably force my kids to play it just to have an excuse to when I'm older.
