yooo
Finally planted my aloe veras.
I read online that you're not supposed to water them at all until there is new growth, as they don't have roots yet. Is this true? Should I wait until teeny tiny leaves start growing before I water them?\\ (Around how long should that take?)
Also I couldn't find soil specifically for succulents, so right now they are sitting in one that's meant for cacti. Is this bad? Would it be better if I switched to normal houseplant soil?

I guess i'll share my noobish endeavors.
I stole some tiny mint sprouts and put them in tiny jars. There was an unfortunate casualty :c

but also success!

I've been looking for a thread like this for a while now ♥ And this one doesn't look dead. I love your mints! You'll have to tell me how you root them. Whenever I try, they develop roots and then die off. I love mint, but I can't keep it alive. Full sun, partial sun, filtered sun? Do you let yours dry out in between waterings?

☁xxx Thank you haha! I was quite lucky, the one that I thought might be dying turned a new leaf as it were. I just kept the cutting in the little tiny pots you see there filled with water, until they had quite a few roots. Then I just transferred them to the pot of soil you see there! I kept them on my window sill C:

I've started a new Wisteria baby from seed. My turtle's lights have been an excellent source of adjustable heat as it started springing up. It's so little...not like the other one I started last winter.
