    actually, i think the fact that we are all unique is really beautiful <3

As for the climate theory, where I live, the climate is usually pretty warm, but the Winters can be brutal. QnQ The zone I live in his more on the industrial side, although the town I specifically live in is suburban and not very industrial. I do know of some bullying incidents, but my town { or at least my school } is notoriously athletic. Of course, being me, I fail completely at sports. ANYWAYS, where I am going with this is that there are some intimidating and maybe even harassing conflicts that I've seen. For example, some people take the joy in something called "booking" { if you are unsure what I mean by this, it is basically when someone purposely bumps into someone in the hallway and makes all of their books and binders fall }. I don't think I would call it bullying, but it is intimidating. My town does a lot of HIB prevention and Drug awareness things, so my town is cautious. Does that mean that people never get bullied? No, but the exact "bullying" doesn't occur too much here. I do think there was an incident with people bullying some via Instagram in town, but that was a while back and I don't use Instagram.
I'm not 100% sure this would count as "bullying", maybe it is just disrespectful, but there are A LOT of gossip hounds in my school. Unfortunately, I've witnessed them talking about not only myself, but others in a rude manner. Spreading rumors and what not. Thankfully, I have not personally been a victim to false rumors in a year or so... well... that I know of. oh well. |"D

{ wow this came out longer than I expected }

on the topic of gossiping/spreading rumors...

I've never been able to understand why people do that. I mean, I try to understand, but I just can't.

My mom's in this outdoors club. I went with her club last weekend to this camp-out. and let me tell you, everyone there was so gossipy and just... it was shocking! these were adults!

It was mostly amusing to me, but also kind of sad... everyone was talking about everyone else behind their backs. It was like nobody even really liked each other! Every person in that club has such great qualities, and it was like I was the only person there who could see that..

Ahh, yes. I don't really understand it either -- especially spreading rumors. Rumors tend to change over time, and believe me, it isn't fun when somebody makes up a false rumor about you. :c It is hurtful, even if it's true, it could be information someone doesn't want to be publicly shared.

And, yes, that does sound a bit sad. :c I'd probably find it a bit amusing as well, mostly since I'm a bit curious about things, but it is slightly disrespectful to the others there.

Im joining! Im not bullied much anymore (better school)
But during my K-2 grade years, the kids were cruel.
Kindergarten was fine, but in second & first grade it got serious. Kids called me the devil, hurled pinecones at me which caused me to climb a tree and jump out of it, fracturing my ankle, forcing me to doubt my religion, and other things. I really my only real friends were another weird girl, and the librarian. The others just, well, used me.

I'll join, is this club for helping people with bullies? Or just to show that we care? Either would be a good reason.

I will be joining <3
I have been through a lot in my life, staring from my first year of school and through forever but yeah, it's just family anymore. I won't be going through it all being as we could be here for quite some time haha, but the base line is, I wish I would have had a backbone when I was younger.

Smoogiepie wrote:so umm... I have a question for anyone/everyone;;

what type of climate do you live in, and how much bullying do you usually witness?

it may sound like a strange question, but I have a theory that maybe climate influences peoples' hostility.

I live in a hot, humid climate most of the time,
but in the winter it gets cool, windy, and very dry.
It's rainy here and never snows.
We occasionally get ice or hail.
There's not much bullying here I don't think.
I haven't been bullied much by kids my age,
but younger kids and adults are particularly bad.
I find that I lot of kids my age are kinda bullied by their families and teachers more than other kids.
Everybody here is obsessed with summer and the beach,
so I do find that kids who hate both or prefer other things are alienated a bit.
I've hear rumors that people think I'm insane, that I have a severe mental disorder, and that I'm lesbian, without ever meeting me.
I don't necessarily consider that bullying, but it could definitely lead to such.
I've heard a lot of untruthful things about people that could potentially be hurtful to somebody.
There is a lot of peer pressure at my school.
Not for serious things like sex, drugs, etc.
But for tiny immature things like crushes.
I know it's seems small, but continuous pressuring for anything can be very stressful and harmful.
Anyhow, I like your theory and I'd like to see what you find.

well, the main reason was to help people with bullies, but really this can be for discussing any topic concerning bullying or bullies ^^
