Noob means you're inexperienced. I'm new to minecraft and I would disagree, I'm not like that at all and I'm sure there are many new players who aren't like that as well.

People use the word 'Noob' to describe people that are inexperienced and are not good at the game, but refuse to acknowledge that fact. Newb or Newbie means that you're new.
Some people use the word 'Noob' incorrectly to describe new people.

This is just my opinion, I think that the word 'noob' is different from 'newb'

Noob came from the word newbie...... why don't people just refer to those people as jerks?

I dunno. I guess some people started to call those annoying players 'newb' as an insult, (People are weird) and then it sort of morphed into noob or n00b.

People on servers like Mineplex call people 'noobs' when they get cocky and win something. As an insult, or to rub it in their faces. I don't really agree with that, or calling new people noobs.
To me, it's an insult, but I've never really seen that parody. I'll check it out later xD

I can totally see people taking offence to being called a noob. Noob no doubt came from newbie, which would be an inexperienced player. Older players with more experience (such as myself) get called noobs, and bam! You just insulted that player. It happens all the time in-game, I have been called a noob so many times, generally when I win a game.
That aside, probably a better idea not to bring up the word noob on here because some people do take offence.

And I looked up the parody. I honestly think it should have been more along the lines of 'not teaming with trolls' since that's more what was described by the song ;p

But when you kill someone on SG people call you a Hacker even though you had an OP kit or better stuff then them XD

I'd only take offense to noob if used in a jerkish way like "Don't talk to me noob" or something along those lines.

You know I'd probably have an easier time if I had a mouse..... I've been using my track pad. It's extremely difficult to move and click at the same time.
