Welcome! And I'm a big fan of the Zelda games as well. I've cosplayed Skyward Sword and Wind Waker in the past, and my friends and I are working on a Hyrule Warriors group for a con at the end of the month. It's my favorite thing to cosplay~

We wore our Skyward Sword costumes to the Symphony of the Goddess concert (that Legend of Zelda orchestra thing) and Jeron Moore the producer of the whole orchestra tour actually approached us after the show and asked US for a picture. And then he tweeted the picture afterwards /dies It was so surreal. I was so happy!



I didn't blur his face out since he's basically a public figure.

It was actually pretty fun ^^ . Also very simple and cheap compared to a typical cosplay. I never spent more than $50 all together . I'm actually planning on cosplaying as Kyubey from Modoka Magica next. Now to save money .

Where do you cosplay? I've cosplayed to the shops before, (and once in a gym for a Halloween party) and in November I'm going to my first convention!
Do you buy your costumes, or make them yourself? Well, my first real cosplay I bought a part of it and made the rest. I did another rough cosplay for Halloween which I made mostly! My next cosplay idea is kinda difficult but I want to make it myself, but if it proves too hard I'm planning to buy my next cosplay and make any parts that are missing or that I don't like.
What was your first costume? Fem!America from Hetalia, I went to a shopping centre. I actually cosplayed her a few times! No one recognised me though...
What is your favorite costume that you've done? I don't really have a favourite right now, since I've only cosplayed a couple of times ^^;
What is your favorite costume that you've seen someone else do? Hm... I've seen so many great cosplays I can't choose just one! I once talked to someone who had done some absolutely amazing Hetalia, Death Note, Black Butler etc. cosplays! Also a friend did a really cool Hatsune Miku cosplay this year~

I'm really excited for my first convention! Unfortunately it's not a really big one but I'm still really nervous and excited at the same time ;u; I'm going to go as Yosafire from The Gray Garden! I can post an image of her if anyone wants it!
