mmmph on the old thread i posted this and didn't really get any good recommendations [well i only saw naala's so if you replied too i must of not saw it, sorry!! so go ahead and repeat yourself!].a few of the animes i really like are dangan ronpa, panty and stocking with garterbelt, akuma no riddle, zexal ii, aquarion evol, aquarion,k-on, kill la kill, tamako market, and puella magi madoka magica! and the genres i really like are sci-fi, action, moe, psychological, dementia, fantasy, shoujo, thriller and horror [also romantic subplots INVOLVING ALIENS in the series are nice too.]

A series with 39 epsiodes. There is also a movie, but it's bad compared to the anime. Hideaki Anno made it and some ideas also came from Hayao Miyazaki (he used them for Laputa as well). The story has some elemtents from Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea as well. It was more popular around 1990. Ger dub seems easier to find than eng dub though.

The anime is about Jean, a boy who likes to build planes, because he wants to search for his father, that never came back from the sea. He goes to Paris with his uncle for a competition (there hasn't been any plane, that could really fly yet). When he sees a girl named Nadia he decides to follow her (having a little crush on her). He sees that an evil trio is after her and her amulet called 'Blue Water' and wants to help her. That's how the story begins, but there is more to come...

i love all of those animes, too! you should watch monster, it's amazing.

I looked at the summary and it seems pretty interesting. Okay, here's my watch list in order:

it was originally a video game but it got an anime based off it! it's about fifteen students getting stuck in a school and they have to kill another student without anyone else finding out to leave.
