 Hooray for age!

My cousin has loads of original Gameboy games, and because she's turning 18 next month, she thinks she's getting too old for the original Pokemon games, so she's giving them to me. ^.^

It makes me feel old when kids in my grade are like, "OMG, you don't have a laptop?" "OMG, you have the old iPod Touch (I was sure that any iPod Touch was new, even if mine can't make sound without ear/headphones?)?" "OH EM GEE, you have an original DS with no color?" "OMG, you have a Gamecube? No Wii?" "OMG... you get the point..." XD

Yep, almost the same here, except I'm actually using the new iPod tough right now (I never actually wanted an iPod; my parents surprised me by getting me one for Chrismas). I'm saving up to get a laptop, but I've always used a desktop (in fact, my dad used to build desktop computers from a kit before most people knew what they were). When I was a little kid, laptops were not extremely common. We used A good old Windows '98 PC to navigate the boat when we were on vacation. :P Of course, I had the same operating system at home for quite a while (the laptop we had used at the time is still fully functional, and doing great after 12 years or so, but we don't use it much anymore. XD)

GameCube will always be my favourite console (Besides the original Nintendo console. ^_^ I was never fond of the 64 though because the joystick on the controller was awkwardly placed.). Wii is cool though, I guess. It's definitely pretty different from any other system that's been made before. Whenever my young neighbors come over they try to jerk the controller upward as if they're playing Wii. It's pretty funny, but it makes me feel super-old.

One of my friends has a pale blue original DS, and I have the electric blue one. A lot of younger kids tend to not even know that the original DS exists (they seem to think that the DS Lite is the "original DS," I guess). o3o

I wasn't crazy about getting an iPod Touch, but my sister got a new one and she gave me her old one. XD
I've got a Wii now... got it for Christmas. I love the Gamecube, easier to control then the Wii. Funny, the only times I've used a Wii before I got my own was in France and China. Lolz.

Sorry if this is off-topic but.

Gamecube controller FTW!
I am leaving CS, thank you for the good time, I enjoyed it a lot while I was here. I love all my friends, and I will keep in touch, but I have better things to do.

Ya... FTW! And then this is even more off-topic, but what also annoys me is when people are like,
"What is FTW? Does it mean What the *beep*?" *headdesk*

LAWL. That's happened to me too many times, Daydreamer. XD

Anyway, on topic now, my friend dropped her DSi yesterday. And guess what? The camera fell out the top of it. I was saying "OH NOES!" on the outside, but on the inside I was having a laughing fit. I remember I dropped my DS from a tree one time, and the only marks it got were a few scratches.
I guess Nintendo better smarten up and make more capable DS's, hm?

Oh mai. Great, glad there's a club for this.

I own the original Pink DS - I've handed it down to my little sister, however, as I had it for God-knows how many years. XD It was a bit faulty after it fell out of the bed, though o.e
It still lasted magnificently.

I now do own the red DSLite, as it's hard to find the original DS here - most of the gaming stores/catalogues have the DSi and the DSLite packed into them. Still, the ol' DS was the hardiest of the bunch.
