That's spectacular! Are you going to be consistently jumping around that height during your near - future lessons?


With the shows fees, transport, et cetera, it's going to be rather expensive, correct? Whatever happens, good luck with the preparation of it all. There's so much to do before a show - it's so overwhelming. = )


Jealous? If anything, I should be jealous. I not even able to take lessons anymore.

Had my first week of work today! I made thousands of dollars in sales for the store and am very happy with my position at my new job. I feel very welcome there so far and everyone is very nice and patient.

To walkingdisaster - I've already moved to another country, I made the move from the US to New Zealand on my own last December. Also, I am very sorry about your grandmother.

I had a lesson yesterday and I felt so great. Ben and I have been getting better and better. Our instructor commented that it seems Ben is really trusting me and we're forming quite the bond. I also jumped for real this time. We only trotted over some tiny jumps but we're getting further in our learning and I'm feeling great. I've been getting better at holding my shoulders back and I'm mainly focusing on keeping my heels down.

I've been told I'm really the only person who rides Ben, I think people get frustrated with him. Especially seeing as he has the worst ground manners. But once I'm in the saddle he's ready to go. I'm feeling great this week and I felt great last week as well, I'm hoping it only gets better and better from here. c:

That's wonderful! It's nice to hear that there are some kind and patient people working with you. I know I'd hate to be around nasty colleagues for many hours at a time.

Oh, wow! That must've been so stressful! I'm only moving to a different state, and I'm so overwhelmed I already want to quit. It doesn't help that people are treating my belongings like trash. And that I'm busy with acting, ballet, and riding. And that there is an existent pile of family problems. My life is a mess right now. o.O

That's spectacular! And you jumped for the first time too? Will you begin frequently jumping now? Be sure that you're not gripping with your knees, and don't force your toes inward. When I was having problems with my heels, my past instructor told me to stand on the drop of the stairs and keep my heels down. It helped a ton. And keeping your shoulders back won't be a problem with a little practice.
