What are you Makoatls doing in preparation for the oncoming holiday season?Sai and his family live in Japan, where the holiday season doesn't really have the same connotation as it does in Western countries. They wouldn't even plan on making the effort to get together, except that Enero, Sai's mate and the father of his kiddos, isn't Japanese at all and so has very strong opinions on how Christmas should be celebrated. This time of year he always goes crazy with decorating and Christmas music, sending out Christmas cards and inviting friends and family over. Back at home, he never cared about Christmas
that much, but when he came to live with Sai and realized it wasn't celebrated the same, he felt really strongly about spreading the Christmas cheer in the ways he was familiar with. So thanks to Enero's efforts, they're having a pretty Western Christmas - he even has the grandkids believing in Santa. All of their family and friends will be there, besides Gamble ---
Normally Gamble would be at home with Sai and the family for the holidays (since, like Enero, Gamble isn't Japanese and so does believe in Western holiday customs) but Gamble has gone to America to visit with his friend Penelope, who usually has to spend Christmas alone. Penelope doesn't have any family, and Gamble doesn't want her to feel lonely this time of year. Unbeknownst to them, some of Gamble's other friends (Jontae, Loudon, Hark, Aria) have made plans to crash their Christmas party, so Penelope is going to have a very full house this holiday season. Meanwhile, Gamble's son Xavier has decided to spend the holidays in Japan with his family there.
This actually covers surprisingly most of my makos, since only a handful of them aren't somehow connected to either Gamble or Sai. The rest of them either don't celebrate or are doing their own thing xD

This question inspired me to do a little cutesy festive doodle of my bby Kazumi ~
I decided if anyone likes it and has a lineart of their own, I'd really love to do lineart swaps? The whole mako can be edited such as horns, hair, mutations, etc (although I don't want to redraw the whole body, so no like shaggy makos or makos with 10 arms or something please) and like even if you wanted a different object than a present, I could edit that as well? idk many people with linearts but yeah it was just a thought xD
also - that awkward moment when you draw a mako based on the current lineart and then you realize the makos made on the first lineart have a different hairstyle oTL so here's a pic of Jontae with wrong hair i guess lol
