Just answering some questions for now!
Your Viscet has been brought to a party and promptly ditched. They don't have a ride back home. How does this work? How comfortable are they around all of these strangers? Do they interact?
Nightshade- "What.... are you serious!" Gives an uncomfortable snort and just leaves.
Penny- "Oh hey he's pretty cute! Oh so is she, oh and that girl with her is so stunning!" Flirts with just about everyone and is super comfortable.
Riptide- eyes widen in fear and gives a muffled shriek of terror. Avoids everyone.
What subjects are likely to make your VIscet hesitate, flush, stumble on their words?
Nightshade- Nothing can really get Nightshade to stumble. Only one Viscet in known history has been able to do that... Danika, and it's the subject of Danika that may cause a bit of blush to appear.
Penny- Any talk about demonic beings. She just feels the urge to serve them greatly.
Riptide- Everything and anything. I mean the poor guy was born with a stammer and is very flustered around anyone.
Do your Viscets they tend to follow others' orders and wait for people to give them instruction in life, or do they charge ahead and make decisions on their own?
Nightshade- It depends on who it is, like she follows her boss undoubtedly, taking on any case he gives her. Her other workers she doesn't ever listen to comands. As for Danika she has a huge soft spot for her and will follow her orders and sometimes gives her own.
Penny- She's a free spirited girl, she doesn't really listen to anybody.
Riptide- Being as scared as he already is around others Riptide is super submissive and will follow anything anyone tells him.
What happens when your Viscet doesn't get what they want?
Nightshade- Usually she doesn't care, or will give the person a nasty glare and even a snarl if she feels it's big enough. If it has something to do with Danika and not getting what she wants she will usually bribe Danika with cuddles. (No kisses yet X3)
Penny- Penny will either whine or flirt with the person and sneakily get what she wants.
Riptide: Riptide probably won't do anything. He'll just give sad puppy dog eyes and sulk around.
How is your Viscet's self esteem? Does it change over the course of their story?
Nightshade- Nightshade used to have zero self esteem when she was a child. Getting abused by her parents all that really kept her from running away was her brothers, Zackle and Humphrey. But when they were taken by the scientists and killed Nightshade runaway to live on her own. Living by herself and fighting to stay alive day by day raised her self esteem.
Penny- Penny has always had high self esteem. Through childhood to the present day Penny has always thought of herself highly and there will be no changes anytime soon.
Riptide- When Riptide was a little boy and his mother was still alive he had pretty high self esteem. But the day she died and Riptide was put in a therapy building Riptide started to lose self esteem. Especially when he went to school and the bullies made fun of his stammer.
What's one flaw about themselves that they hate the most and wish they could change?
Nightshade- Nightshade is way to over protective. She sometimes over does it by growling at anyone who is rude or mean to Danika or others she cares about.
Penny- Penny believes that everything has to be around her and even when it's not someone has to have all attention on her. She doesn't want to change this flaw only tweek it a bit.
Riptide- Riptide wishes he had more confidence to stand up to the bullies around him. He has a terrible self confidence level and can't seem to stick up for himself.
How does their personality shift when someone gets to know them well?
Nightshade- Nightshade is usually very closed off and very quiet when you first get to know it, that is unless you're a kid. But when you start to get under Nightshade's skin then she starts smiling more, talking to you and even sometimes a quick handshake. But if you're Danika then basically you get to know everything and anything about Nightshade.
Penny- At first Penny can be like a dream, often very flirty with others and seems to lure you in. But when you start to know her better she can be very surprising, sometimes kissing you and the next screaming and fighting with you. But Penny is a pretty bright girl and doesn't mean any harm, unless of course you've hurt her. She's more of a Forget-er then a forgiveness.
Riptide- One the surface Riptide is one of the most anti-social, scared, fidgety and tiny Viscet you will ever get to know. But when you get to know him he's really a sweet guy and if he likes you enough he will take you to his elephant Reserve he works at.
Do they prefer time alone, or with other people?
Nightshade- Depends on who she is with. Normally she likes only one or two people and sometimes none at all. The only person she'd be willing to stay with all day is lovely Danika.
Penny- Penny definitely prefers people, lots of people.
Riptide- Riptide would rather be alone, with his elephant herd, running alongside them and doing elephant things. Those are his people you could say.
Is it easy for your Viscet to tell someone "no" when they don't want to do something?
Nightshade- For Nightshade it's a bit hard, depending on who you are. If you're a kid then Nightshade can rarley say no to them. If your Danika then Nightshade can never say no to them. But if you're anyone else, it's debatable.
Penny- Penny can always say no to people, it's been quite easy for her throughout her life.
Riptide- Riptide cannot say no to anyone, no matter if they're smaller than hin, taller than him or even a little kid.
If your Viscet were to describe their own personality, how would they do it?
Nightshade- Calm, smart, deceptive, protective, a bit caring, and cuddly.
Penny- Bright, amazing, nice, flirtatious, sly, affectionate, and free spirited.
Riptide- Terrified, twitchy, sweet, loving, broken, a bit food driven.
Is your Viscet aware of their flaws?
Nightshade- "Of course I am! How could anybody not be?" Nightshade is very aware of her flaws as she is a detective and has examined herself before for flaws and pros. But that's not to say she does anything about them.
Penny- Penny is not aware of her flaws at all, thinking she's a little bit like perfect.
Riptide- Eyup, Riptide is very aware of his flaws.
How has this Viscet's personality changed from childhood to adulthood?
Nightshade- As a child Nightshade was very dependent on her siblings to keep her afloat. She was always scared of everything and didn't dare say no to anyone. But that all changed when her siblings died. She left her home and was a free girl. She went around and landed herself a job as a private investigator after mastering in Forensics. She became more independent and had more self confidence in herself.
Penny- When Penny was just a small gal she was actually super shy. She might have picked that up from her mother, Amea, who was super shy as well. But when growing up Penny spread her wings and became the most flirty girl with a free spirited attitude you could ever come to know.
Riptide- Nothing much has changed between Riptide's personality. Before his mother passed Riptide might have been more social, but when she left that ended his social flur. Riptide now hangs out with the elephants and is actually quite calm when he's around them.
Who or what influenced this Viscet's personality? Did they pick up any mannerisms or traits from someone?
Nightshade- Nightshade has become a but more softer on the inside because of Danika, a huge crush of hers if you haven't already picked that up. But also a bit more protective as Nightshade is on the constant look out for the one named Lottie, who had stabbed Danika.
Penny- Penny wasn't really influenced by a person, but instead a body of water. When Penny became a surfer she opened up her world of crazy flirty antics and lived freely.
Riptide- Riptide wasn't really influenced by anyone. He might of had a few traits before his mother passed but he wasn't really got a trait from anyone.
Does this Viscet express affection? If so, how and are they comfortable doing so?
Nightshade- This girl only shows affection towards a few selected few. Children are given a lot of affection from Nightshade as she loves playing with young Viscling. They get laughs and tickles and soft hugs from her. The only adult Viscet that gets affection from Nightshade is Danika and Nightshade is very comfortable doing so. Some stuff gets her a bit flustered, like when the two had cuddled together in Danika's cave. But Nightshade loves Danika so she let's Danika dress her up whenever and do a fun dance the two love doing.
Penny- PB always shows affection to almost everyone that isn't serious. The flirty girl is always comfortable kissing strangers, especially if they're cute.
Riptide- Riptide does show affection, but very rarely, since he doesn't speak to others. He does show affection to his elphants though, especially little Bingo.
When frightened, will the Viscet "fight" or "flight"?
Nightshade- For the detective it depends. Nightshade will size up her opponent and see if it is a fight well worth it. If not she will usually get a jab in and then run. Nightshade isn't exactly extremely strong, but she can get a good punch in if she needed.
Penny- Penny will almost always fight. This fired up surfer gal couldn't imagine running away even though she is super small and could totally get crushed (Sorry PB, but you're like 4 feet 10 inches....).
Riptide- Riptide would never raise his fist at anyone, even if they were super mean to him. He doesn't like fighting as he already has low self esteem and fighting wouldn't help the situation. He would most likely either run or pass out.
Sometimes when life gets hard, I only need to come and look at this, and suddenly I feel better <3
