I have a new MLP OC that I got the other day. Out of my new batch of MLP characters he will be my first male. Right now I just have him named Blaze, but I may or may not change his name in the future. He is a Bat Pony/Pegasus Pony.

I was gifted this design by PaleCyberneticHyena! This design was worth 10$ and they really are beautiful!
My idea for them is that when she slays/defeats other animals their spirits are eternally bound to help her in fights. I'd like to say that each time she summons one though it takes a year off her life. So maybe they'll be a death god/ shinigami? I wouldn't know. I normally never get characters with skulls on them, pff.

I've got a question pertaining to my current situation.

I've had Ramona for about a year now, and already I'm beginning to lose touch with her. It's not like I've changed as a person or anything, because I haven't. I really don't want to make a new fursona, but I can't seem to find that love I've had for her.

Also, after getting rid of some characters I didn't click with, I'm in search of more. I can pay with art or old characters. I also have 8 C$.

What do you guys do to keep from getting bored of your fursona?

You know, that's a good question. I haven't really thought about it before and I'm not quite sure how to answer it. I've had my main fursona, Alastair, since I joined the fandom (so, a little over a year), and if anything, I love him even more. Maybe I just got lucky when designing him? Or maybe the more like you your fursona is, the more you can connect. I'm not sure what your personality/tastes are vs your fursona's, but it might help to maybe make a list of the things you like (with regards to personality, hobbies and interests, appearance, etc.) and evaluate your fursona based on that? I know that early on when Alastair was just a concept in my head and I was trying to define his personality, some aspects of it weren't very much like me, and I found the need to change them later. I think that if I had kept those aspects of his personality, I would have gotten a bit bored with him. Even if you don't want to make a completely new fursona, don't be afraid to modify your current one in order to better fit you. But if you're completely bored with her, maybe the best thing would be to make a new fursona that you can get excited about. There's no shame in that, I know lots of people who've changed their fursona, even after a couple years.

The point is, characters -- especially fursonas -- aren't set in stone, so you should do whatever you need to do to not be bored of her. Forsonas are extra special characters, and it's no fun getting tired of them!

Well, I've had one of the three for 13 years so... I don't know? When they click, they stick, I guess. I can't imagine letting any of them go.
