o hey !! i've started watching sherlock and aa h it is my fav tv series!
I'm only up to season 3 and I'm in love

also i didn't realise that mycroft and mark gatiss are the same person and that he co-created the show ..

Wow, that was an intense finale. I wonder if that was the end of series as a whole. It felt a bit like it judging by the way they ended it, but I suppose it could go either way.

That's all I can say right now without spoiling something

supposedly this was the final episode. the actress who plays molly posted this on twitter. doesn't prove anything but y'know, it's a possibility.

so . i've just finished watching that last episode and oh my god
i'm bawling my eyes out the whole thing was so good ahHh i loved that
i felt so bad for molly as well i love her so much

okay yeah so basically i did not like the finale because there are about 50 plot holes, loose ends, and discontinuities and i just can't believe these writers would be so sloppy (just to name a few: sherlock apparently forgot that glass is reflective and can't tell when it's 3 inches in front of his face, john climbed out of the well on a rope despite being chained to the bottom, victor trevor ate out of a dog bowl, no one bothered looking for a missing human child in the well and eurus was allowed to keep living as normal after kidnapping/murdering another PERSON, not a dog, that entire repulsive scene with molly where they undid her last 6 years of character development... i could go on)

as a finale that got so much hype i definitely don't think it lived up to expectations but knowing it could possibly be the last episode of sherlock ever is just... sad

like it wasn't even about sherlock and john. it was about a new character that no one really cared about and for some reason got forgiveness at the end despite multiple unforgivable crimes.

at least it ended in a place that i can live with and i can easily believe that they end up in a way i'd be happy with. but i am just disappointed in the writing of this episode.

yeah, i noticed some of those things as well, such as john climbing out even though he was chained

and seriously, i know she was a kid,
but
how was she not given the electric chair after killing someone
and then making up a poem/song about it, getting her
younger brother to memorize it and spend hours searching
for the missing kid, and then singing it all the time? seriously.

also, why did they put her back into that same prison that she
already enslaved most of the guards and escaped at least
two or three times out of? WHY!?


i did like the episode, but... gah i just.. don't want it to end?
and i really want moriarty to come back ono

honestly i just don't understand why they chose to go this direction. at all. it was so unnecessary and just not good.

plus the ending?? the whole plane thing? eurus just needed a hug to stop murdering people? and sherlock supposedly helped her come "back to earth" but then the next scene mycroft basically says she's ascended so far into her mind that no one can reach her. contradictory much?? it's like they didn't even think about what they were writing. and there was so much foreshadowing... like the whole merchant of sumarra and "can sumarra be avoided?" which was all just ignored.

i still don't see why she hasn't been given the death sentence.
i get that she could get off under the condition of mental illness, in a way
but... she killed so many people my gosh...
also
the writers made the ending of the last episode super dramatic
with john almost getting shot in the face and ending when the gun
goes off
ok i did not see a tranquilizer come out of that gun did you?

my friend said something about feels and i think the writers
were trying to end the season with a huge sob-isode to make
everyone cry. i feel strong for not crying. although that molly scene...
i bet sherlock didn't tell her why later.

I found season 4 was a lot more experimental with the writing does anyone else agree?
