I'm just staying out of it because Mine are the opposite of yours, and I don't want it to escalate into a huge fight.

Yo, no need to be harsh, though. It came off as a bit hostile. Although I like neither Sasuke nor Sakura, I'm not gonna declare "I don't feel like arguing with ___". If I were angel, I'd feel really unwelcome. Like I said, I don't like either--but that doesn't mean I'm going to bash them or refuse to accept that yeah, they have some good qualites. Sakura's determination to assist in any way she can and her change from Naruto to Shippuden are two things I like about her, while I like Sasuke's strength and his ability to grow despite his past. No need to say anything like that, because the last thing it will do is prevent a fight. :c

i think part of the problem is that naruto is shounen and shounen is supposed to appeal to teenage boys, who are generally not known for their desires for strong female characters
(with the exception of our lovely club leader obvs)

Jirayia novels? I mean, his team sorta parallels Team Seven
and he seems to be the Sasuke in the team, and I honestly
cannot see Sasuke reading those books...

although stated as a joke in naruto sd: kakashi is labeled a closet pervert. so he's not out in the open like jiraiya is/was but more like closet type thing. pff yeah he never really seemed like a pervert to me through the series :^?
