Stage 1: Raise the left hand, palm outward to the person being addressed. Keep the thumb tucked to the side of the palm, pointing upward. Clench the index and pinky fingers as if making a fist and extend the middle and ring fingers vertically. The gesture should be made at the same time as speaking the "graaaaagnah" part of the verbal Universal Greeting.

Stage 2: Extend the index, ring and pinky fingers. Curl the middle finger and thumb towards the palm of the hand so that they touch at right-angles, with the side of the thumb's tip pressed against the nail of the middle finger. This should be done in time with the verbalization "wheep".

Stage 3: Clench the index, middle and ring fingers. Extend the thumb and pinky fingers so that the gesture resembles a horizontally-flipped 'L'. Shake the hand sideways twice, in time to the syllables of "ni ni"

Stage 4: As the final "bong" is spoken, open your hand out so that all digits are extended and slightly splayed, as if to make a hand-print in clay. Pause momentarily and then press the thus-opened hand against that of the person you are addressing, who themselves should have a likewise open palm.

i think cyberverse is worth a shot if u havent checked it out already. it stumbles a lot but it feels like the creators cared more than for rid2015. its nowhere near tfa levels of good but its not bad

Yeah, could be much worse, and looking at what some of the writers are saying they do seem enthusiastic and invested in the characters they're dealing with, not just the money making aspects of it.

The signing is great, I didn't realise that was a thing! It makes sense, since even humans don't all hear/comprehend things so well, so among all the aliens in the galaxy there must be lots of different ways of understanding. I love it every time they reference it in recent continuities too.

OK, so even though I've never seen the G1 movie (I know, I know, I'm a G1 fan, but I havent seen the movie), I did, somewhat, know the greeting. That's cool though that there's signs for it!

But wait what?! G1 animation mistakes are CANON? Where'd you find that out?

I believe it's caused by the Unicron Singularity, which is a multidimensional black hole created in the Cybertron cartoon and comic which altered space-time, meaning continuity and animation errors were caused by the singularity. I think the original statement was made by Fun Publications, but the long and short of it is, because Unicron was killed in one universe but is alive in others, the multiverse is broken.

Yeah I think it's pretty neat the writers did that XD It reminds me of 'conventional current' in the science community - something that's blatantly wrong gets made into a real thing because people don't like to admit they made a mistake
