Kat looked at them.
Allie wondered back, with two humans. She took one look at Jazz and pushed one towards him.
"Feading time at the zoo" said Kat and turned away.
Allie dug her fanngs into the human.

[Solanum]

Jazz pushed the human away. He smiled weakly at them. "Thanks for trying...But I'm gone. Let me join them. Let me go. Merr, you're a big boy, you can look after yourself." His head rolled back onto the ground, his gaze turned cold and blank. A single tear rolled down his cheek as the light left him.
He got up and followed the path his ancestors had taken. "Goodbye...I'll miss you guys." He turned and walked away, not looking back.

Merr howled in pain and mourning. He had lost almost everything, his family, his pack, his love.

[Cottleston]

Zan watched from the shadow of the wall. She felt the cold shiver of Jazz's soul pass, and he was gone.

[Solanum]

Merr tried to be strong for the others but he fell apart. "Jazz... I can't live without you. You were always there for me. You always got me out of trouble. Who will be there with me when I next get into trouble, who will save me from the authorities when I next get arrested, for whatever reason. I can't do this without you...I don't want to be the last..."

[Geronimo.]

"all the more for me then" said Allie

[Solanum]

Merr snarled angrily again. "He has just died and that is all you can think of! He died to save you lot from me, and that is all you...ARGH!" He put his hands to his head and forced himself to calm down. "Calm Merr, Calm..."

[Cottleston]

Zan ventured forward. "I'm... I'm sorry" She said to Merr. "He was very brave to save us like that. It wasn't your fault..."
She wished she could do something, but there was nothign to be done. Perhaps if she'd studied harder she'd have known a spell that woo=uld have worked.
Stop it, Zan, that isn't helping. You didn't study harder and you didn't know the spell, and that's all there is to it.
And now an innocent person is lying there dead...

[Geronimo.]

"I offered him a human" said Allie.
"Allie has a problem with stuff like feelings" said Kat, mouthing the words bloody animal at her sister.

[Solanum]

Merr wiped his face and stood up. "We can't just leave him here...I'll go...Before I hurt someone else." He put Jazz's body on his back and ran out the doors. He didn't let anything get in his way until he was in the forest. He slowed down and looked around, he closed his eyes and let his nose guide him.
He buried Jazz next to his parents and sighed, kneeling down beside the graves.

Kat sighed. She conjuired some flowers and gave them to Merr. "wolfsbane"
