like I love Luke, but I don't share that huge obsession that every new fan seems to have for him.

Yeah, I agree, that sucks pretty bad. But I don't feel bad for the kind of fans who only pay attention to Luke and call the other boys ugly and say they should leave the band or stuff like that, you shouldn't call yourself 5SOSfam and act like you know everything better if you only like one band member and don't care about the others. Girls like that would be Luke-fans, I'm okay with that, but please stay away from our fandom.. ._.

why wouldn't you be? you can listen to whatever you want, I mean you have to enjoy it and not other people, like there's so many people in our fandom who hate Fifth Harmony, but I personally don't care at all because I like them and they're important to me.
i saw alot of punk-fans bashing 5SOS and calling them a boyband, just because they're young and don't do that heavy kinda music yet doesn't mean they won't in a few years..

Yes, they are a band of boys, but (according to google) a boyband is a pop group composed of attractive young men whose music and image are designed to appeal primarily to a young teenage audience. Google says that they are pop-rock, and I agree. So they aren't a boyband.

if a band attracts young people they're a boy band.
so yes, they are a boy band. but i love them to bits.
however, they ARE NOT PUNK ROCK EITHER.
they will stop being pop when they stop singing about girls and only girls.
just because 5sos have their own instruments, and play them, and have made a cover of green day and blink, (which to most fans they're auto. punk because of that), they aren't. Seriously, all their songs are about a girl. not about a specific girl, but its about a girl anyway.
I personally listen to punk rock and rock the most, and the 1975 and 5sos are the only pop bands i like tbh.

i agree. I mean seriously, luke has 5m followers on twitter, and ash has 3m? Like, c'mon. Ash is the dude that draws butterflies on wrists for reasons that are against CS rules. He reminds us as often as he can that we are important, and that he loves us and the boys love us.
