What is a iv calculator?

To answer the question for the first one, I personally use pokemon.gameinfo.io - I find it's one of the easier ones to use.

To answer what an IV calculator is, the best way to describe it is it calculates the percentage of your pokemon and tells you what the ivs/stats are based on the appraisal from your team leader. The higher the percentage, the better it is to prioritize that pokemon (i.e. 96%-100% should be your main priorities if it's a good pokemon and not just a pokedex entry). The IVs are broken down between 0 to 15 for each stat of HP/Stamina, Attack, and Defense. If a pokemon has 15 in all three it's a 100% or perfect.
The IV calculator will determine the stat value and your pokemon's percentage based on that appraisal. For example, for Mystic if it's "Overall, your _____ is a wonder! What a breathtaking Pokémon!" with attack and it ends with "Its stats exceed my calculations. It's incredible!", you most likely have the maximum 15 points in your attack!

My newest and second hundo legendary - Kyogre!
I got him yesterday during the raid hour, he's already powered up to level 31, and while he has a bit more to go to level 40, I'm excited! He'll be joining my gorgeous hundo Dialga in causing mayhem!

I didn't get a shiny kyogre during this go around, sadly, but my friend was nice enough to give me his extra for one of my old groudons! So I also officially have shiny kyogre! Yay trading! <3

Ack congrats on your hundo! But I have to say I am super jealous of your hundo Dialga. He's my favourite of the legendaries and I couldn't get him when he was in raids, because I absolutely sucked at curveball throws at the time. Now I'm just patiently waiting for his return lol

Most importantly, the shiny Alolan forms will finally be available! Shiny Alolan Vulpix / Ninetales has a small colour palette change in comparison to the others, but I really like it ;o;

Do you guys think that any of Deoxys Formes will eventually be available to get through the research breakyhroughs? Hehe. I was lucky to get shiny Kyogre after only three raids. We went to both Raid Hours and one of my friends, after completing about 12-13 raids in total, didn't manage to get a shiny at all.

Regarding Deoxys, since the point of Ex-Raids is to get 'exclusive' Pokemon and you can't just simply go to them unless you have an invitation, I don't think you'll see any of its forme's anywhere else. As far as I know, Ex-Raid Bosses have not existed outside of those raids (not including those times Mewtwo was put as a regular tier boss for certain events). It could happen, of course, but I think it's really unlikely.
