Since the guy who said that also said Garnet wasn't a fusion, and since Steven dying if he gets poofed is a terrible choice of storytelling, I'd say that if Steven gets poofed he will just poof like a normal gem and regenerate later.

Having said that, that's an interesting thought.

I decided to make one of the possible gemsonas I mentioned. Then I decided not to make that one. Then I decided to make three of the others. Then I decided to make another who wasn't on the list. Then I made a bunch of plot for them. This got overcomplicated and long. Nothing's definite about any of this, I might change/add a lot.

- Spinel -

Spinel is quite short, about four and a half feet tall. (I imagine a bit taller than Amethyst) Her color scheme is a light pinkish red. Her hair is short, going not quite to her shoulders. Outfit is something simple and loose-fitting. Her gem is located just to the left of her left eye. She's very excitable, and somewhat childish. Her weapon is a quarterstaff, though a lot shorter than a normal one so she can use it easily. Spinel has, in addition to normal gem shapeshifting abilities, the ability to transform into other gems. Her abilities don't work on humans, (or at least she claims they don't, but she might just not want to turn into a human because they're 'gross') and her gem stays the same.

- Jade -

Jade is about average height. Her colors are deep green. Her hair is long and elegant, going down to around her knees. Her gem is on the back of her neck. Jade's outfit is sort of like a kimono, but with a more Chinese-ish design and some Chinese-ish characters. She has miniature butterfly wings, which she can turn into full-size wings and use to fly, but usually keeps small. Jade is generally very calm, being the most grounded of the group. She loves the animals of the earth, including humans, (but not as much as the small fluffy ones) and generally keeps a number of 'pets' with her. Her weapon is a flying claw. (Basically a claw-shaped piece of metal on a rope)

Possibly a fusion between Jadeite and Nephrite.

- Kyanite -

Kyanite is unusually tall and thin, probably around eight feet tall. Her color scheme is dull blue. Her hair is medium-long, going not quite to her elbows. Her gem is on the outside of her right ankle. Her outfit is sort of a simplified fortune-teller type outfit. Kyanite has some telepathic abilities, being able to send mental messages to people she knows well, but she can't receive any thoughts back. She doesn't have much physical strength, preferring to stick to intelligence and strategy. Her weapon is a shortbow, though she rarely uses it. Kyanite is generally very calm and collected, always trying to put logic ahead of emotions.

- Carnelian -

Carnelian is generally huge in all dimensions. Her color scheme is deep reddish orange. Her hair is very short, looking more masculine than feminine. Her gem is on the back of her left shoulder, where it's generally at least partially covered by her outfit. She wears a (largely decorative) armored chestplate and helmet. Carnelian is rather hotheaded, often getting into fights with other gems and random humans. Of the three, Carnelian is the 'brawn' (Kyanite is the 'brains', Jade is the 'other guy') Her weapon is a claymore, though she's happy to just punch things.

- Plot stuff -

Jade, Kyanite, and Carnelian are a group of gems on Earth. Each of them got there a different way, I'm not sure yet how Jade or Kyanite got to Earth, but Carnelian was exiled from the homeworld for doing something stupid and violent to a superior. (as you can tell, I haven't figured this out much yet) At some point, a copy of Carnelian shows up, claiming to have been kidnapped by Homeworld. It turns out that the Carnelian who's with the group has actually been Spinel in disguise for the last several years. Complicated stuff happens. Possibly more Homeworld gems show up. Spinel might end up switching sides for some reason.

I'll probably add a few more Homeworld gems, and possibly another Earth one.

I feel like Spinel is a bit too much like (pink evil) Amethyst, Jade might have a bit too much in common with Rose Quartz, and I imagine Carnelian looking overly similar to Jasper.

So, any thoughts on these?

Accually, I don't think it's YD personally. We say a statue of her before, and she looked nothing like that. I think it's some other gem, maybe corupt.
