Ok, so these issues have been stressing me out lately and it has made me want to stop doing art for others. So here is a few question I'd like to ask:
Do I have the right to sell a tryout art I made for player 1 to player 2 if play 1 doesn't pay for it after my warning?
How do you feel about commissioners rushing you? I've had a few recently, but we had no agreement as to any deadline, time etc and it's been 1 - 2 weeks since orders were placed.

And I also just got this new bab (Khaso) by finkiri as the newest edition of the little group with Lavender and Mouse.

All his life, poor Khaso has been the kid that everyone loves to hate. He'd earned a bad reputation through nothing but rumours and when he finally cracked from all the isolation and teasing, it only made things worse. When he moved to a new school, Lavender took an interest in him, using her deduction skills to discover that Khaso really wasn't bad at all.

That would depend on player 1's reason for not getting the payment in on time and also how much time you gave them. If it was only for a short duration it could very well be that player 1 simply did not have time to transfer over the payment. In that case it would be unfair to give it away to someone else.
However. If the player read the message and was given ample time to respond, depending on their explanation. I feel like it would be fair to sell the art to someone else.


In terms of being rushed. I can't say I haven't been impatient (from an overly-excited/ enthusiastic standpoint) however rushing someone after only 1-2 weeks is absolutely rude. I think you should be reminding this person that you do have a life to lead outside of the internet and give them your assurance that you'll get it done as soon as you are able.

Despite this, I also think the artist should not be doing an excessive amount of other art if they know they will be busy and have commissions/ trades on order. Everyone is entitled to to personal art during or in-between commissions however starting and finishing commissions/ trades with someone else or doing an excess of personal art while there are still people waiting it rather rude in my opinion. /slightly off topic /shot

If you warned them about payment, I'd say you have the right to. Especially if they don't reply and give any reason why. You drew the art at their request; you deserve payment for your work!
I'm a horribly slow artist who loses motivation fairly easily (along with my mind jumping to different places.) I dislike being rushed, though. I'll be fine if we agreed to a form of deadline, but rushing me after 1-2 weeks is a bit much if it's a fullbody piece. Normally I have a "will refund if I can't do it" thing for my commissions, but anybody constantly bugging me will be given their money and turned around. They can go commission somebody else faster if they aren't willing to be patient. </3

When I pay for art, I'm willing to allow around 2 months for stuff, but 6 months is the max I'll wait for. ;v;
I make an exception if it's a reference sheet or full background/detailed picture! Those take a while.
(Speaking of which, there's art I've been waiting on for 8 months...oops. LOL)

He's a detective and a bit of a jerk. He has a huge grudge against criminals, because he lost his best friend in a murder case. Said murderer got away with the law despite evidence, because their city system is corrupted. He wasn't very pleased. After the murder case was let go, he kept a piece of the caution tape with him as a reminder and began to dye silver and light brown streaks into his hair.

i finally pushed myself to make Kiko a proper reference, she's a concept i've had for a while but never got around to doing it so...


she's like a princess of nature with the kindness of an old grandma. plot twist she's actually fairly young. she's a dog/mutt/whatever but that doesnt matter when you're a princess right....?
Ignore the quality of the chibi, it was drawn real quick to show her other side, so she's not symmetrical! if you have any ideas for a more complex concept feel free to let me know, i'd love to hear!
