I was very lucky today and got a shiny Pichu. It hatched from 7km egg and for over 2 years playing, it's my second shiny from egg. I am super happy now. <3

up untill 3 weeks ago i hadnt had any shiny eggs, then i hatched one while on holiday in the UK and then the week after i got back

Well forgot about Chickensmoothie for a long while, but I am very proud of myself of this Bagon community day. I managed to get enough candies to get a Salamance that knows Outrage. Started with only six or nine candies, and managed to get 125 to evolve one Bagon to a combat power of 2,700 something. Disappointed that I didn't catch a shiny after catching 33 of the little buggers. Just 11 dragon types off from getting the silver badge for catching 50 Dragon types, since before I started catching Bagons I was only at 6 dragon types caught, and wasn't even at a bronze badge.

Yeah you can get shinies from eggs :D One of my friends hatched a shiny Swablu a few months back. There's only shiny variants for certain Pokemon though. You can check here: https://thesilphroad.com/egg-distances

On the same topic, I did notice looking at the Silph Road's egg charts that, with the recent shuffle, there seem to be less possible Pokemon from 10km eggs? And way more in 5km eggs.

Sadly I only managed to get one shiny Bagon at 42% IV's, which I'm actually okay with, but evolving it to Salamence only gave me 576 CP. I did evolve my highest CP Bagon and got 2908 (with 78% IVs), and my highest IV Bagon (90%) that gave me 1269 CP. I like the grind to powering up Pokemon though, so I think it was a successful day. I'm more proud over finally getting the silver badge for catching Dragon types though lol
