Wizard Lucas! : D
Can you imagine Lucas Friar in the wizard world? : D I imagine he would come from muggle parents, and that finding out their were a bunch of animals he had never saw before going to Hogwarts- He would lose his mind about Mythical creatures! : D
Here is a small story I thought off! : D (Hmm... I wonder how this links into a contest we might have? I do wonder, I do ; D )
Snippet of a story:
Lucas burrowed deeper into the darkness that began to consume him. Silver moonlight cast down upon the nightfall. Lucas’ only option of sight being with the chalky glow that managed to escape through the cracks the bare tree branches had to offer. Hearing a crack of wood, Lucas’ body froze. Letting his ears focus on the noise around him, a series of crushed twigs echoed into the night.
Treading slowly, he trailed the noise until it lead him on top of a slightly raised hill. Luscious green grass danced in the slight breeze, tickling them as it swept across them. Trees didn’t shelter this hill, a large open passage above his head was visible. Letting in a bright ivory light, Lucas’ eyes became bigger then saucers for a flicker of a second, when it revealed the creature in front of him.
Silver coat, white mane. He had read about them all the time in his “Care of Magical Creature” text books. But never actually saw one this close. A frightened neigh came from its mouth. The mare stumbled backwards in shock, just before she let out a pained whimpering sound. The sound had shattered Lucas’ heart into a thousand glass pieces.
He bit his lip, narrowing his eyebrows as a flood of thoughts raced though his mind. Slight crimson liquid left her thigh. Cleaning a Unicorn wound shouldn’t be any more difficult then cleaning and patching up a normal horse wound, right?
With cautious movements he stepped forward, putting his hands in front of him in a way to show peace. “Shh, Easy girl. Easy” The words came from his mouth softly, delicate as he closed the distance between them. He was going to clean the unicorn’s wound, that he was sure of.
