@ame: I'm currently writing my reply to the Gathering and was wondering if it'd be okay for Dustleaf (one of my med. cats) to come over and talk to Owlpaw.
Also, Aspentail and Falconflower (formerly from Asterclan) are open. Are any of their former clanmates at the Gathering?

again but I'm hopeful things will work out.

@Deimos
My current full list of prefixes for Gustclan (without yet having named the four adorable terrors that Argusheart's just had) is, in no particular order:
Heron(star, ex:-stone)
Chub(tail)
Harrier(pelt)
Boulder(dash)
Barn-owl (Barnfish)
Myrtle(claw)
Argus(heart)
Bugle(claw)
Drosera(tail)
Shell(cloud)
Poirroche (Pearstone)
Osier(fang)
Lobelia(fur)
Nettle(flower)
Sparrow(foot)
Elmfang
Saddlestream
Martin(whisker)
Moraine (no suffix)
Firepaw
Merlinpaw
Ploverpaw
Cicelypaw
Langoustinepaw
Vendacepaw
...4 kits
As far as I am aware, Cicely-, Plover-, Vendace-, Merlin-, Langoustine-, Martin-, Barn-, Moraine-, Chub-, Drosera-, Osier-, Poir-, (and Pear-), Saddle-, Myrtle-, Argus-, Bugle-, Harrier-, and Lobelia- are all unique. I am trying to use unique names when possible, partly to give me maximum choice of suffixes, and partly to give inspiration for other people who want weird and obscure British things.
Technically Drosera- should be Sun-dew, but 1) that's blasphemous as the sun seems to be sacred to the cats, 2) hyphenated prefixes are not allowed in my system; but it might be worth bearing in mind they're the same thing anyway.
On a different note, I have 4 new kits for Gustclan and they are super adorable, so much thanks @Kat!

@ember! - ooh the gene pool thing could be an issue haha, but i think i'll be alright seeing as i have 40 cats in my clan as of my up-and-coming post. :0 and your right, i could just request new cats from the moonpool. plus i'd keep a look out for any UFA cats too. and yeah that's what i was planning to do with the day/night warriors. c:
@chamrosh - absolutely love your naming system! i'm gonna see about adding all those names to my list later on today.
@gathering - i'll see if i can get a post up soon-ish!

i was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on creating a personal herb list, specific to your clan? i just realized that a lot of the herbs on the official list wouldn't be growing anywhere near the beach, and i thought it would be a fun little research project to swap out those herbs with more local plants. i would still have herbs for all the different uses (binding broken bones, stopping bleeding, etc.), but just with different plants.
would the mods object if i provided a tailored herb list? :0 i understand it might make it more tedious to respond to a medicine cat's herb searching.
