I am hoping to send out sporatic treats to trick or treaters on Halloween [Like sometimes organizations such as the Fire Department and Police do in neighborhoods] since this is my favourite time of year :D

I have also added a small poll to the main thread, and would love to know your opinions on it. It is something I've considered allowing in the past. There would not be any rule changes, players would just be allowed to have more than one story they can send. They would still only be allowed to visit each person once unless they allow revisits. This would mainly just be intended to allow some more variety for those who like to read the stories/see the costumes, as you could then allow revisits specifically from those with multiple stories.

If you have extra input on the poll please feel free to discuss it here! I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on it.

Adding my thoughts:

I honestly think this would be a lovely idea. I allowed revisits for the first time this year given that LOLO's player count has been shrinking (right now I only get 2-5 PM's every 24 hours, and that's if my lights are on constantly). Revisits have been doing well for keeping activity up for me without it being too overwhelming, so I think having multiple stories to add variety to revisits would be beneficial.

I think the things that need to be figured out/decided are how many stories a person can make, and how it will be implemented in the sign-up forms (having more than one story might make it cluttered on the thread).

This will not hinder how I keep track of people since I use ID's and usernames for tracking.

For the prompt: I wanted to make a dress-up, but I wasn't sure how to do Cadbury Cream Eggs without just putting Easter eggs, which might be confusing. X-D

Regarding the multiple ToTers: I agree with Resplendent. You'd want to still make sure that the stories are appropriate, so you'd have to approve them all (and maybe have a way to see if that specific ToTer has been approved?). However, I think it would make repeats more interesting. One of the reasons I didn't allow revisits this year was I didn't want to have to see the same dress-ups and stories multiple times (especially the ones with smaller fonts that just get tricked anyway). So allowing multiple ToTers might make revisits more interesting.

Featured Users



Featured Users is a way for users to get noticed when they have their lights on. We will occasionally go through the list of users and randomly pick out 10 who have their lights on and post those 10 in a Featured Users.

You will still need to check the lights status of the users! Don't send them messages unless their lights are on. Their lights may be on at the time I post the list, but they may change their status before you see it, so always check.

Additionally, please do not quote/repost this if you are commenting on it.

I totally forgot about LOLO this year!!! I just signed up so hopefully it's not too late :)

Fingers crossed, better late than never! ^^ I forgot about LOLO a couple years ago and didn't join, and I think that was silly. Any amount of time in this event is better than none. 😁

I have so far managed to maintain my goal of being visited by at least half of the players!! ♥ Right now the total players are 208, and I've had 123 unique visitors (and had 20 revisits). I don't think I'd be able to shoot for being visited by 75% of the players; I'm not sure I can get another 23 (or more) visitors in a little under three full days. 😅 I'd need to be much more active on the forums than I am. 😂

Ive lost count of visiters and should have been writing down user ID in case users changed usernames. I only have a couple days left so i'd say theirs not much point to try to now. I am also waiting to change my own username but im waiting until after Oct 31st

I have been visited by 149 separate people and treated every single one!
But I have received many double and triple visits too, also ... gifting each time!

Been a bit lower on visiting others though and received many tricks ... but it's ok, to be expected I suppose! Lolol 🎃
