Who is your favorite Makoatl that you own and what are they like?

With my makos I have a 'big three' -My three main babies

Yuuya,who's design I adore. I have an insane amount of fun drawing him. He's super cheery and optimistic- a secret agent working undercover. He's really flirty and cheesy- adorable in a goofy way. He can almost always be seen with a smile on his face and a bounce in his step
Coralia,Who was my very first mako-and the first adopt I ever won when I joined CS. She's really quiet and calm, likes making jewelry and building things with coral. She lives with her family inside the cavern of a volcano,helping her mate Agni in his research to find the missing link between Makoatls and dragonkind.
And Yue, one of my newer makos who means so much to me because my best friend made her for me as a total surprise- and she's so fun to draw and i love her so much-She's all of my favorite things and it makes me smile every time I look at her because of her significance to me. She lives in a village in china and is regarded as the reincarnation of the moon goddess. She's really wise and calm and believes she should do her best to live up to her title- so she tries hard to be considerate of everyone.

I am very excited to introduce myself again, but this time not as a non-owner!!!
I was gifted the most incredible Mako by Serelathe that i have utterly fallen in love with and am so pleased to be able to be part of this community! already i have been shown so much kindness by so many people so a general Thank you to to everyone who helped me out or offered me help is a necessity, Thank you all a hounded times over. Who is your favorite Makoatl that you own and what are they like?
I only own the lone so naturally she is my favourite, she is so fun to draw but i haven't quite gotten a personality made up for her as I've only gotten her a few days ago. I would love some suggestions if anyone has any ideas for a personality that is possible related to the Pokemon she is based off of (I'm not up to date on my poke knowledge)

@Sixbane; Yuuya, Coralia and Yue are drop dead gorgeous! and so is the art you made for them! I will be reading all about them shortly i also just have to say that your previous post had so much amazing art that i literally had a cuteness overload

Who is your favorite Makoatl that you own and what are they like?

I am predictable and my Sai baby is my favorite, for sure (art above is by Sixbane). Sai is the makoatl based on Japan (back when there was a batch of makos posted who were based on Asian countries/cultures), and he was posted for adoption pretty shortly after I returned from my first trip to Japan. So the second I saw him, he brought back so many happy memories.

It's hard to sum up what Sai is like because I know him so well, both the way he presents himself in public and the way he is privately. I could write a novel about his personality xD Where to begin? I'd say that Sai was once a workaholic to the extreme - geisha life was something he took very seriously, and it consumed every moment of every day. This is pretty typical for geisha - it's not a job; it's really more of an entire lifestyle. He always presented himself as feminine, traditional, serene, and polite. He was very social, and highly aware of social responsibilities and social cues in those interactions with others. So, in a nutshell, he was always presenting himself as a perfect Japanese geisha. However, things changed a lot when he met his future mate, Enero. He began to learn that the most important things in life are not how many parties you're invited to or how much money you make. He realized that family is the most important above all. it was something that he had trouble understanding because he really grew up without a family to support him, and it made him believe that he was capable of everything on his own. Now that he's a parent, he is secretly a weepy emotional mess over his children. It's nothing that he lets others see of him, except for occasionally his mate. Mostly he tries to act like this strict, no-nonsense, emotionally aloof parent but in reality his kids and now grandkids are his world.

It's probably a bit of a tie right now between Kalinag, Samael, and Zeke.

Kalinag Min (aka Mr My Daddies Rule The World)
He's pretty naïve tbh, but he's bold, brave and loyal, as well as a bit of a brat. He has a tendancy to disrregard anything 'dangerous', mostly due to the fact that he reckons everyone and everything is scared of his fathers' wrath (which is kinda true, just not in the way Kali thinks XD)

(Speaking of Kali, I don't think I ever showed off this amazing piece Six did of him!)

Samael
An angel hunter who's more bite than bark. On the outside he's aggressive and grumpy, but deep down he's actually kinda sweet, he just blocks that side of himself out to protect him.

Ezekiel
This dude was one of my first makos ^w^ He was the first I bought too!
He's a guitarist for a little band made up from several of my other makos called the 8-Bit Sprites, and has the personallity you'd expect. He's noisey and loud, without being obnoxious, and everything tends to move at a fast pace with him! He's also more than a little clumsy, but over all he's sweet and kind, and will go out of his way to help anyone.

He has absolutely no filter, and will say whatever pops into his head. His brutal honesty, will sometimes appreciated, often gets him into a whole lot of trouble. It's particularly bad with his mate, Carter-Kole, and he has to watch what he says to avoid upsetting the younger male.
He was orphaned and placed in the CPS system at a pretty early age. He fell into a bad crowd, and developed a reputation as a bit pf a street-fighter. Even now that he's given it up, he feels uncomfortable unless he has some kind of weapon in his possession.
Once he met his mate, he settled down. He got a job as a translator, and since he can speak about four different languages, this actually works pretty well. Though he usually works from home, occasionally his work in the courts makes him leave so that he can attend the trial.

It's really a three way tie, (between Vaas, Anders, and Lestat) but I'll choose Anders.

Anders is/was my only dream adopt I've ever had ?? And Capsicle bought him for me; honestly the sweetest gesture ever ??
He's a mage and very sweet; uses his minor healing powers for the better good and has a clinic in the impoverished part of town where he lives. He's a bit of a pushover sometimes, but that's usually when the spirit that shares his body takes over and pushes back. He's pretty guarded and worried about people trying to remove Justice (his spirit friend) from his body, so he tries to not get attached to anyone.

Who is your favorite Makoatl that you own and what are they like?
I don't really have a favorite among my Makos. I love each one of them for their lil' quirks and personalities.
Though Miyu is still always going to be my first Mako. <3

What do you look for when adopting a Mako?
I look at the design and stuff. The amount of edits/colors that go into a design determines whether I even want to draw something or not. I prefer having Makos that I can draw on my own without being bored to death or breaking my arm over how long it takes!
Stuff like horn/hair edits are neat but not really a necessary thing with me. For all I care, it could be a simple plain-as-day no-edit Mako with a lovely well-done design I could enjoy.
(Also, I'm a lazy butt and avoid "Impress Me" contests.)

How do you cheer yourself up if you lose a competition?
Curl up in a corner and cry while munching on gallons of icecream.
I can be at peace that the winner will take good care of the character in the end. As long as the character isn't subjected to the eternity of "trading/selling limbo" then I don't feel bad for long. I don't buy any new characters. I just turn around and focus on my current characters instead, especially if the contest gave me plenty of development ideas. Can't let good ideas go to waste!

He's a passionate monster hunter who hasn't gone into retirement for unknown reasons. Though he may be blind in one eye and has a limp, he's still as energetic as ever when it comes to slaying beasts! He also likes encouraging younger Makos to follow his footsteps. There's never enough monster hunters for this world.
I have been working on an armor and sword design for him. No idea on when I'll be able to show that.

I will be picky on romances. I prefer an active friend or rival relationship first.

Miyu | Female | Straight
Miyu has molluscophobia, a fear of slugs; she also fears ghosts, jellyfish, exploding sharks, Cthulhu, and various other things. She's extremely shy around others and speaks little words to strangers. It may be a struggle to bring her out to social events or even a date, but she'll open up if people try. Her favorite food is salmon, but it's a rarity where she lives. She works as a treasure hunter in Blackbridge Bay and lives in a reasonably sized house for a single individual.

Kalmanu | Male | Bisexual
Kalmanu is a fierce hunter who hoards spears, including broken ones, and speaks rather fluent for someone living out in the middle of nowhere. He's intelligent and has a growing interest in different cultures and languages. He's always on his toes, but he'll stop and chat every now and then. The main problem is his frog. Also, he really hates birds. He lives in a really thick jungle area up in a treehouse he built himself over a couple years.

Aerre'keros | Male | Pansexual
Aerre'keros wanders the deep sea and watches land dwellers from a distance. He has horrible (yet sometimes silly) misconceptions of land dwellers and needs friends to correct him. It's rare to see him smile, but he's loving and protective deep down. His favorite food is squid and squid ink. He doesn't like jellyfish and whales and hates being called "Keros." He gathers deep sea treasures and sleeps in shipwrecks; he doesn't have a set home and travels often.

Kaiceph | Male | Asexual
Kaiceph, like Keros, lives in the deep sea and watches land dwellers. Sometimes he's a smartass and claims to know all there is to land dwellers (spoiler: he doesn't!) He has a dislike for curiousity (especially from scientists) and will avoid any large ships or helicopters on the ocean. His common prey is small sharks or anything he can easily sink his fangs into. He delivers a pretty mean headbutt. While he does travel often, he can often be found near Keros' location.

Talc (Alaric Wulfram) | Male | Asexual
Talc is a monster hunter who strives to teach others the monster hunting ways. Despite being half-blind and older, he's still a tough opponent on the field, especially with his dragon armor and blade. He has a soft spot for children and enjoys music. He's very patient and difficult to anger, as he's seen and dealt with plenty in his life already. He doesn't allow anybody to address him by his real name; that honor is only reserved for a few individuals.

I am open to RPing (over Skype), but even headcanon chats are perfectly fine with me!

Squalo is my spoiled bab and I adore him. He was my first custom and really what I wanted since I first saw
Makos and started getting into him. I mean his name IS Italian for shark, so this needed to happen. You base
something off your all time favorite character and you're definitely going to get pretty dang attached--

Squalo is prideful, stubborn, very skilled, passionate, sharp minded, strong-- Heck, a lot of things. I have a

salutations oh so kind members of the mako community! I am Jordan, you can call me J or Ash, if that's easier for you <3

I am a nonowner, but I would like to change that in the future. I am currently trying out for the 200th nursery batch mako, it's honestly one of the most beautiful makos i've seen. But I want to prove to the judge that I really want her, and I want to make sure my form looks okay, so I am looking for constructive criticism on my form. If I believe you have given enough of a review and it actually helps me improve the form, I will give you a little payment. it won't be rares or anything, but it'll be a small little nice thing. The only thing I ask is that you don't ask me to change the name or gender, as those two have been planned out before hand.

One thing I really need to know is if it appears on your screen properly! tell me if images are pushed down so I can crop them and make it fit on every browser, it fits perfectly fine chrome.
